re: Clemson recruiting...Dabo doin' work

I wouldn't exactly say Dabo stole Spence Region from bama/aub/lsu since none of those 3 schools will offer him a scholarship

"the kids not dumb, he knows the barn is burning, hes just creating excitement"

Gus Malzhan and Jeff Grimes must be a bunch of idiots! Cause with the huge investigation hanging over Auburn and all. Don't they read TD?? Surely they read Thayer Evans and Pete Thamel..or Slimebum at least.

Grimes for sure, being a Texas native and all. What an idiot...

I'd be curious to see AU v LSU last 30 years
Don't surprised to see both Robinson and Collins both at Auburn...
Greg McElroy will climb to the top of that, fast.

Same could be said of Alabama's heisman winner...

re: Malzahn to Vandy?

Gus will be at Auburn thru the end of next season. He gave Chizik his word after last season that he will fulfill his contract. Its odd to believe in this day and age but there are a few, very few, folks out there that actually plan on honoring the contracts the sign. In return for that type of integrety, Auburn will substantially reward him this offseason.

re: Nutt meeting with players tomorrow at 4pm???

Could be that he wants to tell his team about the NCAA will be spending some time on campus seeking answers to the link between Masoli and Kenny Rodgers.

Prepping them on how to say "no comment"...

re: Which job does Dan Mullen take?

Just an opinion but I could see Meyer "quiting" again and he would bolt there in a heartbeat.

And those kids don't know the history of these schools. They know stuff from 10 years ago. If that. I'd be willing to bet, tradition rich programs sell their history as well as recent success. And again, Auburn had 1 SEC title in the last 20 yrs, I'm sure kids were somewhat aware of that.

Yes,most kids being recruited can only relate to the past decade 00-09. When you look at it through their eyes, this is what you see. Florida, LSU, Georgia, and Auburn in that order with the most SEC wins. So what might be perceived by us 30 somethings is viewed differently by 16-18 year olds. Just some facts, nothing more, nothing less...

Most do now of 5 finger & a thumbs as well. Those kid were during their extremely impressionable stages when that debacle was going down.

The Lemonier (Lemoneer), now being served at Toomers Drugs..

Mixed with sour grapes and served in a Jimbo..I mean jumbo BCS Bowl...

re: Such hate..

Yep, that's Auburn.

Craziest thing bout that picture is someone actually paid for an Andrew McCain jersey

but elite offensive lineman wanting to come to Alabama is a mile long.

^^^^FAIL^^^^

1st - Shon Coleman & James Stone beg to differ...

2nd - The line of "elite" OL is FAR from a mile long...

Other then that, your completely right.

re: Great Class Tigers!

Posted by dbs on 2/3/10 at 9:15 pm to
No doubt about it. With late coaching changes and a "weaker" overall in-state talent, your staff pulled together a class full of studs! Congrats Tigers.
Bryant Denny is more recognizable within the state by its true name "Jordan-Hare WEST".

Coleman can still avoid pulling a Massie!!

Posted by dbs on 1/31/10 at 11:34 pm
Don't try to be the funny guy Shon. Stick with your commitment. Bet good ole Massie wishes he'd stuck to his original plan about this time last year. He would be getting fitted for a RING right now.

Coleman don't be sitting in Jordan-Hare West next year wishing you were in line behind Cam Newton getting fitted got your RING.
"now go away newb" <--- okay, but only because you demanded it....

The legality of the BCS??? What does BCS stand for??

Birth Certificate Shenanigans?

His administration might not want to look too hard into that.

Well shite. We need to make sure we keep his arse stocked up with whatever he is on. It sure looks like it's getting the job done.

Agreed! Well, he's headed to one of the best pharmacy schools in the country.

If dudes on juice, makes huge gains, then gets off the juice yet keeps working out, he will NOT maintain all of the gains made while on the juice.

That is a fact. Unnatural results cannot be sustained by natural measures. I can personally attest to this. I've been down this road. Not saying one would loose all muscle mass by no means, but there will be a loss.
