austin/San antonio truly is where the southeast meets the southwest. where pine trees disappear and cactus becomes abundant. some days the air is thin and dry, some days the humidity reminds me of my days in louisiana/florida.

Seal on tour
no, not that seal, not the kiss from a rose singer guy with facial scars or whatever. this seal is a canadian that travels mostly solo all around the world and to places well off the beaten path. afghanistan, pakistan, india, wherever. i feel like he will be killed one day doing this. pretty entertaining shite.
i lived in pensacola for 10 years in the early 2000’s.
its a beautiful area no doubt but the lack of industries hurt it. no real job growth. it’s got old money, military and retired folks.
not sure why the port doesn’t expand but it prolly has to do with the fact that Mobile and new orleans already have better ports and rivers.
yes it has some ghetto ish areas that i wouldn’t want to be in after dark (or during the day) but nothing more then neighboring cities of similar size. ultimately there’s nothing wrong with pcola, just nothing that can attract young people parking adults looking to establish careers and build families.

i declined the trade. keeping rice. looking to move Ebuka for a RB, if it makes sense.
i did, tried emulating first then tried sutton for monangai.

yes, sounds fair

trade R. Rice for R. Dowdle?

Posted by tigertrueAU on 11/11/25 at 2:56 pm
i have chase, adams, Ebuka, and sutton at wr but i’m thin at rb with irving and hampton still out. i’ve been using Vidal and R. white in their place. i’m first in a non ppr league if that helps.
please advise
so sick of this. can’t watch anymore, we have an awful offensive line. auburn football is a joke. aure hope steven pearl can keep AU basketball going cause this is embarrassing.

Savage Axis II Flagship XP .308 Win

Posted by tigertrueAU on 8/30/25 at 2:27 pm
gonna pull the trigger (pun intended) and buy a Savage axis II .308 to be my primary deer hunting rifle. i’m on a budget and believe i’ve done a fair amount of research on this weapon but am always open to feedback. i’ll be hunting power line cuts in south Texas on 50 acres of private property. the scope that comes with it is a bushell 3-9x40 which i will eventually upgrade but feel is good enough to hunt this year with it. i wanted to stay under $450 but think this gun at $520 is worth it. the axis II is a hundred more then the standard axis. anyways, any reason i should or should not buy this would be appreciated. thanks

re: Will you ever remarry?

wanna make God laugh? tell him your plans. remarried at 45, greatest thing that ever happened to me. wasn’t looking but have a good relationship with our creator and Lord and savior Jesus christ. i followed him and trusted him. had you asked me my plans i wouldn’t of said remarried. he’s smarter then me.
