Imagine thinking that you are getting the bad end of a trade agreement from the US and that to remedy it, you are going to cut a deal with China and get fair trade.

Canada is about to get pee pee in their Coke.

Wonder if they’d let ‘em waste all electricity in California?

It's not a waste of electricity, if they close the deal.
That kind of intensity (i.e. cocaine usage) at his age can't be good for your heart.

Scored too fast

I don't know. Other than the Lacy long run early, they haven't been able to put it in the endzone. Their kicker can't win this for them.
That was their state flag until earlier this decade. Like for real.
I guess it's a good thing we aren't in the Big 10.

I probably will also prevent Oregon from going after him.
Those are a master work. Her plastic surgeon deserves any god complex that he might have.
Golding is playing to the Ole Miss fan base. I'm sure he and Lane both understand that it is all for show.

They probably still text, just like Lane does with other SEC coaches. Hell he's talked about a SEC coaches group text that he stated during the Theo Von interview.
This video discusses the ongoing conflict between Ole Miss and LSU regarding coaching staff changes during the college football playoffs (0:00).

The speaker argues that the media is misrepresenting the situation by omitting key facts and taking a biased approach (0:10-0:23).

Here are the main points highlighted in the video:
LSU is paying the coaches: LSU is still paying the salaries and benefits of coaches Charlie Weiss Jr. and Kevin Smith, even though they are now coaching for Ole Miss in the playoffs. The speaker believes LSU is doing the right thing by allowing them to coach through the postseason (1:15-1:37, 2:08-2:18).

Ole Miss's tampering allegations: Despite LSU paying the coaches and allowing them to assist Ole Miss, the Ole Miss administration is reportedly investigating tampering allegations against these same coaches for talking to LSU players (2:40-2:59).

The speaker finds this hypocritical and "biting the hand that feeds you" (3:02-3:04).

Lane Kiffin's decision: The speaker defends Lane Kiffin's decision to leave Ole Miss for LSU, stating that any intelligent coach would take a better job with more consistent chances of winning at a big-time level (3:42-3:56).

He criticizes the media for questioning Kiffin's choice, emphasizing that it's a personal decision (4:01-4:18).

Ole Miss's reliance on Kiffin's program: The video stresses that Ole Miss is in the playoffs because of the program, staff, and NIL infrastructure that Lane Kiffin built (5:24-5:49).

LSU's actions are admirable: The speaker believes LSU has acted admirably and done the right thing by hiring who they believe can help their program (6:09-6:34) and attempting to mitigate the negative impact on Ole Miss (6:56-6:59).

Underlying motives: The speaker suggests that both LSU and Ole Miss might have initially assumed Ole Miss would not beat Georgia, and thus the coaching situation would resolve itself quickly (7:46-7:56).

He also states that Ole Miss's actions have become "strictly personal" and are driven by feeling "jilted by Lane" (10:51-11:12).

Media's incomplete narrative: The video concludes by reiterating that the media is failing to present all the facts, specifically not mentioning LSU footing the bill and Ole Miss threatening tampering charges (12:41-13:00).

The speaker urges for cooler heads to prevail and for Ole Miss to focus on winning the championship (12:28-13:36).

Edit:Didn't realize someone else already posted the summary.
All of it is done between agents now. It's an ethically grey area. It satisfies the letter of the rules but circumvents the spirit of the rules.

Do we need better rules to clean all of this up? Definitely, but in its current form, you can't fault schools for playing the game by the rules that they are given. The real villain in all of this is the NCAA for sitting back and taking a cut of revenues without providing adequate structure and rules.
It's also giving too much credit to the 4 teams still in the playoffs. They are getting credit for who they have signed but isn't able to factor in all of what they will lose once their season ends and their players can enter the portal.
I just watched his highlight film pinned to the top of his X.

I definitely want this guy. He would be the perfect blocking TE to compliment Green.

Both those guys on opposite sides and Leavitt and Berry in backfield would be a killer goalline offense.
I wonder if Lane saw him while watching film on Chambliss last year and made a note to look at him this year if Chambliss worked out.

All of the golding jabs at Kiffin. I feel ole miss are delusional like the Gumps.

They're definitely delusional but not like the Gumps. Bama has at least won enough that they have a reason to be delusional. Ole Miss fans are delusional without ever winning anything.
Yes, so that would mean Atlanta would need to pay him $15mil or more to get him to leave UGA. I doubt the Falcons would be willing to pay what it would take to get him.
With the new college football, he already is coaching a form of pro football. The real question is if the Falcons want to drop $15mil a year to get him. I doubt he'd leave for a pay cut.

. It does get expensive for the teams as well, since it’s not the most cap friendly way of doing business.

That's why the Bengals would never do this. They would have traded him before they took the hit on the second and third year franchise tag. They are too cheap to have gone that route.
Kicker in the portal?

The portal has officially jumped the shark. Time for the NCAA to start earning their cut and start cleaning this portal cluster frick up.
It was my sophomore year and I won the lottery to buy a student ticket. I was about 10 rows up in the endzone.

I had similar seats in Atlanta at SEC championship that year. Going into the game, we had no chance of moving past #3 because there was no way that the preordained greatest team of all-time, OU could lose. And then sometime during the game they showed the score of the Big 12 Championship game and OU getting boat raced by Kansas State. We blew Georgia out and we all stayed up late at the hotel watching a Hawaii game that could affect someone's SOS and in turn the BCS computers. I remember landing in the BR airport just in time to see the BCS selection show in the one little restaurant that they had in it at the time. Just getting into the game was surreal. I have no idea how I passed any of my finals that next week because I was lurking on this site like crazy. The anticipation for that game was like nothing I've ever experienced before or after.
