re: NegaTigers caused us to go to a lesser bowl/matchup...

it does not suck. Nice bowl. ive been a couple of times and had a blast.
Orlando has plenty to do. More than Dallas.
Im happy with the Cotton, but the Capital One definitely does NOT suck.
You could not have been there last year. Go spend plenty of money at Disney & Universal, have minimum fan activity at a strip mall, then watch a game on a field that goats shouldn't be on. Cap1 should have at least comped the drinks in that pig pen.
I am so looking forward to JerryWorld!
What player do you know that is upset with us going to Cotton rather than Cap1? It sucked last year. I'll see the real fans at Jerry World!
re: Texas A&M fans buy up all the RV passes. LSU fans don't get any

Just post where you rent. We will come tailgate with the Tiger RVers and bring the beer!

No doubt that Jerry World will be better than the old Dallas Stadium for this game! Come on! Who would rather play in an old run down stadium in a dumpy part of town than a brand new, state of the art facility! Get with the times!

re: After LSU Games, where does the post-college, < 30 crowd go?

We reopen the tailgate party! You can't drive anyway, so we just party in the lot until traffic dies.

When was LSU ever a baseball school before a football school? I've been around close to 50 years and don't remember that.

It depends...
If you were THAT good, you would have been offered an LSU scholarship, if they had a need at that position (or one similar). They look at who comes to camp, what they can give back. This isn't about patting someone on the back for being a great fan since childhood.
If I got an offer at another D1 school - go there!
If I got an offer at another school - go there if you can meet your educational desires. Face it, chances of going pro are very slim.
If neither meet your goals, WALK ON! There have been great walk on players that did make it to the pro level. One real disadvantage of walking on at LSU, I don't see many of them playing. LSU could do much better at that. If you have a kid doing really well at practice, you should give him a shot in the game at some point.

I know it is early, but I have to work close to Omaha the week before the CWS. I went to the Monday game against Texas last year for the same reason, but couldn't hang around. I'm thinking about staying for a few days or a week this year. Please give me some advice on where the Tiger fans stay, hang, eat, etc.

Just how many offensive plays did we average a game? Where does that compare with the rest of the SEC teams? Some of you stat junkies should have these answers. I tend to drink too much before the game to remember all those details. I do remember the defense spent way too much time on the field.
re: 112th ranked offense
Posted by TomEnMS on 1/6/10 at 8:45 pm to RushTigerLimbaugh
A lot of teams have 19 year old quarterbacks, its college. Not being ranked in the top 50 is pathetic. Most of the problem is play calling. We have more unused talent than most teams have talent (for sure if you go to the top 112!). We never adjust our game plan to what is happening. FIX THIS!
I have 4 with me and 6 more friends. It was a great time, until kickoff.
I don't know where you were, but nobody in section 128 sat down the entire game! We stood, yelled, chanted and tried to provide a 12th man.
