This is a common theme for most everyone that first-time visits Birmingham (Hoover, Homewood, Mtn Brook) etc…
I have been here 4 years from Nola and the amount of times people come here from wherever and say stuff like this is very high.
Had a work colleague stay in Homewood for a long weekend wedding and she was like “so this is how other people live???” She had never been to Bham area.

Phil Hendrie is the funniest human alive most people don’t know about.
Been a huge follower since 2003. His radio show from 1999-2006 is hands down the greatest comedy there is. An unreal talent.

What’s honestly smart right now is to go ahead and do the unusual unpopular firing of a coach early in a season, because it will be overshadowed by the LSU search. The pelicans could sort of quietly do this at least from a regional exposure level.

The Bama Bust claim is the biggest myth. They have SO many in the NFL that it is a statistical reality that some will not pan out. However, they have the most panning out.

When you have over 70 players in the NFL, inevitably the statistical odds that you will have under performing players is there. Now list all the ones that have had long tenures and are studs.

Thanks. When you look on the guide for channel 6.3, does it actually say “Pelicans vs Indiana”?
When I look at it, it doesn’t say anything related to basketball. And when I put it on during the game, it’s some other programming.

It’s supposed to be on WBRC which is 6.3 on the antenna. For the last two weeks since I got the antenna, the pelicans are not on that channel at game time. Anybody been successful in Birmingham?
