That's because LSU has struggled to be relevant in basketball for most of the posters on this board's lifetime. Dale retired 30 years ago and we stunk at the end of his tenure (SEC records of 4-12 in 95-96 and 3-13 in 96-97).
We went to the Tournament a ton in the 80s, the first 4 years of the 90s, and then stunk until Brady really showed us what street ball was, and he's been gone 18 fricking years!
Since the Final Four 20 years ago we've got 2 NCAAT appearances not from Will Wade

Decades for sure. Takes a long time to get so good at piano, throwing cards, ice sculpting, etc. Plus lots of days fricking around and dying

Florida is going to have a horrible record at the end of the season and Miami is going to be a playoff team. Absolutely Florida winning this game helps but I don’t think Florida losing will affect LSU’s playoff chances
