Just a follow-up. I know have suggested V-Shop and German Auto. I just got off the phone with both.
Bill at V-shop said they don't do enough VW's and it wasn't worth his time looking up the parts and labor costs. German Auto also suggested another shop.

40K service coming up here also on TDI. I think the fuel filter is due rather than oil change. I may do fuel filter myself.
I understand..but I'm not talking pebbles here I'm talking huge chunks of concrete that could easily kill someone.

Anyone hit the big chunks of concrete dropped on I-10 this morning around 7:30AM? I know at least 2 cars pulled off the road with and one with what looked like a blown tire (hubcap flew off)
This happened between the exits Washington and Dalrymple Dr.
