Far better hotels in the area.

Scialatielli/Clams/Shrimp/Chili is spectacular.

Curried Goat/Sweet Potato Gnocchi/Cashews is also wonderful

+1 on the Hamachi app (Hamachi/Leche De Tigre/Cancha)

Based on this thread, tried Dang's for the first time yesterday. WOW. Better than most of the places in NOLA

Lotus of Siam was the best meal I had in Vegas. Hole in the wall in a strip mall, but well worth the adventure

Going to Napa in July.

Seither's shrimp and crawfish are ALWAYS overdone. I have given up on them. Go to Bevi instead

1) The place has been formally open less than a week. If you go when the place hasn't had a chance to find it's sea legs, it is unreasonable to criticize for service snafus.

2) It if a very nice physical space. Obviously, they invested heavily in infrastructure. To expect that the cost will be the same as that of places whose physical plants are rat holes is silly.

Lovely place. Food is outstanding.

Restaurant has a different target audience than the bar, club, or hotel.

Here is their online menu: LINK

Note, it definitely HAS ribeye and bistecca on it at present.

The orecchiette with rabbit and the rigatoni with guancialli were both terrific, as was the trout.

Having lived in Manila for a few years in the 80's, I have always been a fan of Filipino food. That being said, most places I have seen make an attempt have only been popular with the local expats (in NY, Chicago, & NOLA), and can't seem to gain any traction with the non-Filipino crowd. The only restaurants that survive also have a market attached.
I know Clancy's reputation is cliquish and loud. I found it to be neither the last time I went. Ordered off the menu (a dish I had had the last time I was there) and they were more than willing to do as asked. Comfortable, great food. Friends from out of town loved the place

Maypop
MoPho
Paladar 511
Meriza
Cafe Degas
Toups South
I like Brigsten's, but LOVE Clancy's

I appear to be in the minority, however

The GULF SHRIMP & GREEN TOMATO SALAD is also a really good appetizer.

The REDFISH AMANDINE is a classic.
The "SHRIMP & GRITS" is odd.
The NIGELLA SEARED TUNA is really good.

All of the deserts are awesome. The BANANAS FOSTER is a classic, but the PRALINE LEIDENHEIMER BREAD PUDDING and PONCHATOULA STRAWBERRY CRÊPES FITZGERALD are also outstanding. I am also dying to try the BAKED ALASKA
Pho Bang
Kim Anh's Noodle House
Marcello's
Oak Oven
Royal China
Ruth's Chris
Zea's
Overpriced? Top 25 restaurants, particularly in the Quarter, can command $30 entrees. Seemed perfectly reasonable to me.

Delicious food. Weekends are a complete zoo. Staff is overwhelmed, and you can't hear your tablemates
Bought my dad and iGrill3 which he raves about
Has anyone ever been to Snow's? Tough to get there for 8am on a Saturday

Billeaud's in Broussard
Any place that does should be avoided at all costs!

Ruffinos is an odd mix of steak and Italian. (Only place I've seen do that successfully is Mr. John's in NOLA). High end prices and clientele. All of the food is pretty good, overpriced, and better obtained at Marcello's for Italian, and Ruth's for steaks
