TV revenue? Zero chance would hold up in court

Not saying my idea is best or would work, but you obviously don't know how a CBA works.

Makes no sense to compete with unlimited Billionaire money, with no rules or limits. It may take a few more years, but it's all about buying the best team, and at some point, it makes no since.

This has been going on for years. The difference now is that's more public knowledge. Good luck limiting what you can pay a player. The market is the market.

The biggest problem is the transfer portal. Unlimited transfers with no repercussions means less stability and more and bigger NIL money.

You are correct, however, The biggest schools must break away from the NCAA. Create a CBA holding the schools and players accountable to contracts that are based solely on TV revenue, not some billionaire's check book.

I'm leaning Stefanski, but either would do.

I don't know why.

Something tells me Harbaugh is a little burnt out.

He hasn't been near as successful since Newsome stepped down from the GM position.

As good as he's been, he hasn't made a Super Bowl appearance since 2012.

Don't do this to yourself.

Everyone wanted 9 SEC games

I'm not sure this is correct.

The reasoning behind going to 9 games was not only strength of schedule, but a minimum of 4 SEC teams automatically qualifying for the playoff.

Also, ESPN finally gave in and upped the payout for extra games.

What would you know about 5 stars?

I may be wrong, but I thought this was cancelled already.

Maybe not. I think FSU and Clemson are still scheduled, too.

The best part of this is that Missouri will indirectly be paying UGA the negotiated amount and fines.

That is unless they crawfish on their deal with Wilson. I could certainly see Drunk doing that.

I'm not so much concerned about Bama as I am being without our starting center.

Also, I hope Tech didn't expose Stockton's weaknesses for all to see.

As far as a new head coach, I'd be up for Kalen DeBoer.

I think he's a really good coach and seems to have the temperament for the pros. (ulterior motives notwithstanding)

Me, too. Get as much draft capital that you can and start over. Should be plenty of cap space after getting rid of Penix, Pitts, and Cousins.

Trading a guy who's on a HoF trajectory is a stupid idea and doesn't require any more discussion .

You probably thought the Luka trade was a good idea.

Not sure what Luka has to do with this discussion.

HoF!! Dude doesn't even have enough fan or peer support to make the all-star game.

If I'm building a "team" to win an NBA championship, Trae is nowhere near that roster.

Is that all you got?

Obviously, you don't agree with the OP or my response.

Could you elaborate?

Even before this last IR stint, the Hawks played better without Trae. He does score, makes the typical lob at the rim type assists. But he's a massive defensive liability and is very slight in stature (hence the frequent stretches of being injured).

He is certainly not worth the 50-60+ million for max compensation he'll command.

News flash!

This has been true for quite some time.

Hawks are just too scared to pull the trigger.

Maybe the new GM sees it correctly now.
