Of course, I understand this reason. Makes sense. I'm just saying because of the fact that crawfish aren't so available, I've seen lots of people from the North sort of "disgusted" by the thought of eating crawfish. As if they aren't considered seafood and are considered an insect. Seriously, I have heard them referred to as insects. Typically women though.
I also can't stand when people say "crayfish". Even if it is the scientifically correct term, in Louisiana its "crawfish". You can call it whatever you want in your own state.

I wonder how much tail Mike actually pulled before the original Jersey Shore? I'm guessing not much. The only girls I know that dig that really aggressive approach he uses are gutter sluts.
