Roddy White blames Clemson loss on “too many white dudes”
Posted by Colonel Rebel on 9/2/24 at 8:17 am
Don’t forget USC and Clemson gave Roddy an offer but he couldn’t pass the SAT. His only option was JUCO or UAB. Nah, he doesn’t have a chip on this shoulder.

Because the Advocate isn’t worth $1. The vast majority of other articles refused to mention the racial component.
On another note, Eboni Rose will land on her feet with a pay raise. At the very least she will probably be a law school professor so she can spread her vast knowledge about social justice.

What more proof do you need that we’re living in a 3rd world country? She was removed with pay, but not disbarred and charged. The biggest miscarriage of justice is that Justices Jeff Hughes and Piper Griffin voted to keep her on the bench.

If her business revenue goes up then the landlord will charge more for rent—he wins. A good lawyer will get her out of that lease then the townsfolk needs to make a well advertised boycott of any prospective tenant. This will ensure that building remains vacant and he can hang whatever woke sign he wants.

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the many great contributions of Trayvon, the black community and their culture to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture.
Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real Estate values are fueled by the influx of North American blacks into an area due to their caring and respectful nurturing of these communities, an example of all they have achieved by their enthusiasm for self-improvement through hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

Did you not read the first page? Her reckless decision endangers herself and her children, she doesn't take responsibility, bears disdain for the police yet expects concierge service from them, and when she doesn't get it, praises violence against them. This attitude, this entitlement is pervasive throughout the black community. How can you deny this pattern of behavior and dismiss it as a "stereotype"?
Please explain how we can see the most vile behavior on video or screenshots, but the black community will not condemn the indefensible in their community. They'll blame whitey, or George Bush, or the OT. When was the last time you saw trailer park stupidity and all the white people circled the wagons in defense?
If you want respect in the 7th Ward my friend, act like you have at least average intelligence.

Just a quick observation, as a homeowner, if you don't own a weedeater, do you just pour a gallon of gas around your mailbox?
So the consensus is the black community wants more black officers, so they'll bend the rules until they get what they want. So they get black officers who are lenient to black criminals, i.e., they don't enforce the law. How is more black on black crime beneficial to the black community?

Jan 2 SEC bowl games
Posted by Colonel Rebel on 12/5/11 at 4:29 pm
Why does the SEC do this every year? They have 3 SEC games all playing at 1:00 EST, yet nothing until a
PAC-12 game at 5:00 and a slightly better Big-12 game at 8:30. Why not stagger the SEC games?

TJ Jones' dropped pass

As an Ole Miss fan, I can only hope for humor this season. So during the Notre Dame game, TJ Jones was hit in the side of the head with a pass, and he wasn't even looking
. On the sideline coach Brian kelly was all over him. I wonder what excuse he gave the coach?

Cutcliffe inherited a fairly good, and improved, program from Tuberville. He had a Superbowl MVP quarterback and could not build a team around him. He ran the program into the ground. I'm not saying Orgeron was better, and Nutt isn't all that either, but Cutcliff did nothing for the program.

The fact that you and a handful of others like this politically correct, gay mascot, perpetuates us as a laughing stock. Out of everything the Ole Miss Athletic Dept needs to work on, the mascot would is on the bottom of the list.
The reason you don't understand why everyone is laughing, is because they're laughing at people like you. You probably have a hope and change bumper sticker on you car.

Be flexible and use your best judgement, boys mature at different rates, even among other boys. What you MUST consider in using your judgement as to the introduction, is firearm safety. Use the NRA's Eddie Eagle guidelines to teach gun safety. Set the example yourself and demand it with toy guns, BB guns, etc.
During horseplay, one of my cousin's shot his brother in the eye with a BB gun, and he lost his eye. Many of us have seen this before, but please be a black & white, gun safety nazi when it comes to your boys--it may save their life.

re: Does Ole Miss Drop "Rebels?"
Posted by Colonel Rebel on 10/14/10 at 10:18 pm to inelishaitrust
It's the incrementalism of political correctness. The change started in the late 1980s and will continue every few years until "Rebels" and "Ole Miss" are gone too. Next will the the Confederate statue in the circle. About 10 or 15 years ago, there was a Confederate statue removed in the middle of the night on a TN campus, though I don't remember which school. Don't laugh my fellow SEC friends, your school is next-any semblance of the old South, bldg name, etc. Now, if you must laugh at something, how about our gay-arse teddy bear mascot.

Hey Bowtie, re-read my post and your reply. It's clear that your argument is unsupported and you missed the point of the OP. If you graduated from Ole Miss, then we have bigger problems than PC.
Political correctness is ruining most every aspect of our country, from the games kids play, to Christmas, to sports, to the Boy Scouts, and the list continues. It's a fringe element, miniscule in numbers, who trumps the will and tradition of the majority.
I don't know of one person affiliated with the UMAA who can give an example of a black athlete who is worried about Col Reb or the band playing Dixie. I haven't heard a peep out of anyone over UNLV's Col Reb.
By the way miss Bowtie, you say you love ole miss more, but "Ole Miss" will soon be gone too since it's a plantation term of the old south.

Ole Miss PC administration's attack on tradition
Posted by Colonel Rebel on 9/21/10 at 6:49 pm
In our politically correct world, there is an open season on anything southern, e.g., confederate statues, flags, and anything else that even remotes symbolizes the south. I won't even bring up the Kappa Alpha figurative lynching by the PC bullies.
The Ole Miss administration's attack on tradition started in the late 1980s with the removal of the Confederate battle flag and has incrementally progressed to today's attempt to remove the Rebel mascot and name. We all know the name "Ole Miss" will be next on the chopping block (plantation term for the house's matriarch).
This raping of our southern heritage has been carried out by a PC administration that seems to be above accountability. My question for any of you, who appoints/removes the administration? I.e., who can be held responsible for the actions that are clearly unsupported by the alumni, student body, and state?
