Haha, its funny because its actually Harry Caray.

re: Players stick by Miles

After reading that article, one thing is clear. This team is willing to do whatever it takes for Coach Miles. I am as pissed as the next guy about what happened this past week, but if this team decides to use the fanbase as a motivation, and fight for the coach, this team could be dangerous....

re: Whats a GREAT score...

His main guys are Brady, Foster, and Matt Forte. I'm thinking he has just had a great week. Who expected the Texans to run that much. I got fricked on the other side holding Schaub....

Whats a GREAT score...

...in fantasy? I am getting smoked and the guy I am playing has nearly 175 p'rnts. Is that a really good score?

LSU may be having difficulties, but I can tell you that TAF is definitely not having problems.

PGA Championship

Posted by canuk47 on 8/15/10 at 5:21 pm
I know there is an entire thread on it, but for everyone else who may have an interest in golf that isn't watching, this tournament is getting good. There are six players within one shot of the lead with roughly 4-5 holes left to play.

On CBS....

Louis has tore up the European Tour this year. Just a matter of time before he breaks through on the Tour/in a Major(again), IMHO

re: Job titles

Take this for what its worth.....

I was talking with a recruiter with Hewlett Packard a year or two ago. I told her that I have a Masters degree in Finance and she told me with a Masters degree I didnt have to start at Financial Analyst I, but could rather start at possibly a Financial Analyst III. Maybe this is just the way that HP does it, but this would be for a recent graduate with a MFIN just coming out of school.

Like I said...take it for what its worth.

Yeah after watching that 60 Minutes last night about the Transocean Horizon I really think I missed my calling to be a petroleum engineer.

Man was that shite interesting.

So if one (of the two) annulars fail, is that enough for a blow-out given the other circumstances?

re: CPA and PFS? or CPA and CFP?

Posted by canuk47 on 8/16/08 at 3:24 pm to
im currently enrolled in the CFP curriculum and i am taking it through kaplan. i dont know if there are any masters programs that will help you out with that and i have just decided to do the self study method in order to get the CFP. I havent seen any masters programs which offer any help with it. i know as of this semester there isa 3 hour course at lsu which prepares you for the CFA level I though...

I dislike flroida and bama, but auburn really gets under my skin. last year we were tailgating and generously let some of my roomates cousins and their friends come down from auburn and tialgate/stay at our house. after the game this one bitch wouldnt shut up about how the d byrd catch didnt count and that we should just admit that auburn had won. she went on and on and on and then when they finally got her to shut up he sat down on the grass in an ant pile

my experience with her, her firneds, and all the auburn douches in general will fuel my fire for years to come. they also trashed our house and left early in the morning before we could get them to help

yes it is. like when you are on your death bed and thinking about how great your life has been one of the images that flashes through my memory will be wiating for the band to run down to the stadium. its unreal...

re: Anyone Ready For.....

Posted by canuk47 on 8/2/08 at 11:56 am to
im with you guys.....one of the most incredible sights you will ever witness. i had some texas tech fans out ofr arkansas last season and they were completely blown away. that was their favorite part, running down the hill after the band....

some of the lsu potential has shot up recently with all of the kids getting out of the LSUCIA program. alot of them make some serious bank after school

If you have a lot of money (upwards of 50M) you can invest in CDARS... check it out, kinda cool

well revenue bonds are okay also. because some of those muni bonds may be double barrell bonds which raise money by tax and revenue. just look for a large muni or country or parish and invest in one that isnt going to default. i know its only happened a few times (defaulting), but that has got to be your biggest risk here. look into a (for instance) harris county texas utilities bond or some other public works project bond.

disclaimer: the harris county texas bond was just an example. look for a large entity with lots of taxpayers and is unlikely to default
