Elbow meat is like a 5day arm farm more or less.

If you’re wanting strength training then silverback and strongville have more consistently heavy bench sets than arm farm and elbow meat
Dumbbell strength is one of the harder programs if you keep track of weights and really push yourself. I'd do 1 then when I got tired of repeating it do 2.

//Edit I haven't run it completely but when I have travel and have to lift in hotels I have run it for a week at a time and it's pretty solid

I crushed out 315, 325 but 335 was a GRIND. That's what my theoretical 1RM is set from adding 5lbs to bench monthly via PPSA forever tho so I can't complain.

Main thing this month is my form has really improved on the heavy bench reps.

Ya I topped out at 315 on the 95% yesterday and I cant tell if I slept weird or if I tweaked something but my shoulders are bothering me a bit. I think I can still deadlift/bulgarian/chinup today but I may take it easy on the close grip bench weight if it feels off.

I have to say the heavy singles moved the easiest that they ever have for that weight. I'm pretty sure I'll hit my 1RM since the 95% TM moved so quickly and under control. Which is good cause I don't have a spotter heh.
I have used a plate peg or a Bulgarian split squat roller accessory put low on the inside front of the power rack, and I’ve also used safety pins mounted low and then Landmine with barbell on the side of rack instead of front.

I have deadlift pads to protect my floor now tho and I just stack 2 of them up if I don’t wanna start from the floor

Finally got caught up today; the doubles all moved really nicely but I definitely need a day or two off lol

Silver Back sounds good; I haven't run Strongville in forever and it's similar to Silver Back I think (higher volume lower %s) but can get longer on the double stairway days. I have also been wanting to run 70s Big and the remastered Mass that Lasts again.

Re: triceps pushups on bar: It’s too much of a hassle in my gym too. Ive been doing close grip push-ups with a 45, 25, and no weight on my back

I only did it this year cause it was purely Aaron with the programming. I also will probably run big bench for Christmas instead of just one of his other upper focused 5 days next year.

Looks like my job here is done :)

I did 7,7,7 today for 21 to party; weight moved easy throughout. I’ve gotta be honest though I am starting to get a bit of shoulder and elbow tweakage. Glad it’s just a 4 week program.

Pause reps for Thursday

I had to deal with a flat tire and shovel snow yesterday and then ran into some hurricanes since it was Fat Tuesday. Finishing up Tempo Tuesday now; those pull-ups with pause at top and bottom are no joke.

Shoulders like boulders after all that benching had me dropping down to 25lb dumbbells.

I’m curious if we get another pressure cooker this week to try and beat today’s numbers

Here’s Tuesday; I’m about to go hit the pressure cooker now baws

//edit: were people copying down the text because it’s a hassle to upload images, or do yall prefer the workouts in text form instead?

I had to work weird shifts Friday and Saturday, so I’m just finishing up Friday the 13th now and will just try to do 6 days this week. It’s gonna affect my pressure cooker but whatever

Hit 8@265; 85% was 270 but the 2.5s were behind some plates and I was lazy. For a bench program, my lower back is pretty tired/sore today.

I don’t have bumpers so I just did dead hangs to failure. Not a huge snatch grip deadlift fan but he wrote them down so I did them.
My brother has had 5-80 lb Nuobells for like 3 years of constant use and no issues. I finally broke down and bought a set this Christmas. They are worth the $$ imo; if after many years they have issues you can always replace the handles.
Maybe not, but if Chambliss’ waiver gets denied late in portal period or he goes pro then they may have $$ promised to him they can’t spend and/or $$ but no good replacement qb to transfer in.

Answering my own question I went with Filling out the Hoodie and doing lat pulldowns as warmups from super light to working sets every day he says lat stretches :D
