Just Phenomenal! Such a treat to watch.
Very Stupid..... the storm will be in Bermuda by Sunday... Check the National Hurricane Center
and that's why he can miss a few balls here and there
I am currently re-watching the game and I have to agree with you. Jayden played a great game when you factor in what he was dealing with. He's going to win some games for us.
I really don't see Georgia at 3rd. Doesn't seem like she has the chops defensively to keep up at the hot corner. I agree that both of those bats will be in the line up, but I just cannot envision Clark playing third.
I fist pumped so hard. I almost shouted at work.
I was 13 and in 8th grade. I watched the game at home with my family. This was the night I decided I was going to be a Tiger. 4 years later I applied to my dream school and got accepted. The rest is history, FOREVER LSU!
The level of respect they have for Coach Kelly is admirable. That tells me a lot about how he was running his program.
I will say less but Brandon will gave 250+ and we win by a field goal. I will go with 120 for LF7. We will win by a field goal!
I read somewhere that Duke will be fielding a team starting with the 2016 season.

No it wasn't. It was like a neutral site game. Very quiet the whole time up until OU's last at bat. You can't change fact on some crazy whim. Even the broadcast people were talking about how LSU shot it's wad against Florida and how the exuberance from the dugout and fans was non-existent tonight.

As the game went on the fans did get more into it . We tried to get going earlier but they kept playing music over the PA at the wrong times and too loudly and it killed the cheers. I guarantee you though that the girls were happy the game was played in the friendly confines of Tiger Park in front of 2000+ fans.
Congrats Bianka! The girl is on fire! She went 4/4 tonight with 4 RBI's. She is 14/18 in her last 4 games and her average is currently .565!
Usually not that hard. There is a Berm in the outfield that can seat 1000 and the way the park is set up there is plenty of standing room with good views in case the seats sell out. Tickets are only 5 bucks!

Let's pack the park on Friday and support our #1 softball team. With baseball out of town, you'll be looking for something to do. OU is the 2013 National Champs and has a very powerful offense so the game should be fun to watch.

Come out and support LSU softball!

Remember when we were all pissed that Murphy bailed on us and we had to "settle" for this crappy hire? She was on a mediocre coach at UCF, how in the hell could she get us to be a winning team? I'm eating a whole bunch of crow over the last 4 years. It tastes fantastic.

I love me some crow gumbo!
That was an awful call by the ump on that check swing. Pure bullshite!
I agree that Dwayne Thomas was our best defensive player at the time he was injured. I would love to see him and Adams on the field at the and time.

I like adams and he reminds me of TM7. He plays with passion and you can tell he loves being a Tiger.
What is the name of the player that picked us over all those other schools?
These dudes announcing. The wind is barely blowing. What are they talking about?

Hopefully they are a power hitter.

Why the criticism of Wray's defense and not Bell's.

Because no matter how bad Bell's defense she is going to be in the lineup because of her bat. Bianka is the best hitter to come through this program since Rachael Mitchell. Before is all said and done she maybe the best hitter to ever play for the program. Also, I doubt Blades is taken out of the lineup. She was stellar in the outfield and did a lot a good things at the plate. Also, she will be a senior. I cannot imagine Beth replacing a senior who is a tested quantity and has perform well for a freshmen. Simone needs to get better at the plate so she maybe be a risk for losing her spot but I will note that she had the on base percentage. She got on base almost half the time.
Great analysis. I was thinking about doing this myself. I am hoping that the incoming recruits are able to come in and make a big impact. I think that only positions that are a lock for next year are the outfield, Bell, and Simmons. Third base has to be an open spot. Tammy Wray batting under 200 for two seasons straight and with her fielding being spotty towards the end, Torina will have to consider making a change here if Wray doesn't improve her bat. Hopefully one of the players projected to play middle infield can handle third if need be.

If Jaquish has the big bat on the next level, I can definitely see her being a full time starter at DP or catcher. The dp spot constantly change this year and we couldn't find any consistency there. Hopefully Savannah can step into this role.

As for Selman, I have seen her pitch and see has some good stuff. I hope that translates to the next level. With pitchers, no matter how good they look in high school, you can never tell how good they are going to be until you see them play against college level players Beth has developed Czechner into a better pitcher so hopefully she can continue to do that along with improving Selman. Our pitching staff will surely have depth and in today's game of softball that is becoming more and more necessary.

Bailey Landry will see time as a pinch runner, which is important in the game of softball, and another spot where we need some depth. Depending on how good she is I could possibly see her edge out one of the current outfielders, but I don't think so.

I definitely think this team will be capable of a 40 win season but I think that it is going to depend on how good Selman will be on the D1 level.
Come out and support the ladies

Can students come in for free? Can I meet up with someone? None of my friends will go to an LSU softball game, but I love LSU athletics too much

Students will probably have to pay, but you will be able to get a all session ticket book for three dollars. And I'll be there. I am a huge LSU softball fan and haven't missed a home game this year.
