How about...Offense-Collins
Defense-Rasco
This team is just so young and full of potential big time playmakers. Hard to pick...LOL

Who's gonna be the guy to make a name for himself and become a new playmaker this year? Just curious???

re: Corey Thompson to LSU!

Good pick up...turning out to be a good class after all. One more big pick up would close it out nicely!
re: Alexander and Elston = Package Deal?

I hope so...we'll take both all day long.
re: Close it out with Patterson...
Posted by MachineTiger on 1/31/12 at 2:15 pm to BilJ
Would be a big pick up to all but finish out the class for sure! I'd like to see Mett throwing to him next year.
re: Good luck...

Maybe the young guy will take this and learn from it. Hopefully he'll keep his nose clean from here on if SABAN keeps him, and be smarter in the future. "Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house". We all make mistakes in life!

Guy was "HIGH... LY" recruited!

Just goes to show you that no one is immune to having young guys in trouble with the law. Lets see how Alabama and Saban handle this one. Saban is losing control of his players... LOL
re: LSU boys love the pot to huh?
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/21/11 at 7:20 am to Quack
First of all, it wasn't pot. Its actually sold over the counter just like a tobacco product. The NCAA doesn't even test for it, and its up to the school to handle it. So its not weed, and nobody was "asleep in the back seat", in a smoked out car, going 120 MPH. LMAO.
Cheers to the LSU Football Team!
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/20/11 at 11:06 am
On a positive note...I have to say cheers and thanks to the guys on the team that show leadership by keeping their noses clean! Keep up the hard work, and instill these characteristics into the talented young men behind them. We all make mistakes, but let them be a learning experience on what's expected from here on. Stay the course, stay focused, and beat them wanna be tigers this weekend guys!
re: Anyway mathieu, ware and simon play Saturday?

This gives Auburn more thing to have to prepare for, and be ready for. It's to our advantaqe for Miles to announce at gametime I think. There's a want...
for us to dominate them regardless!

That's where the rubber meets the road! Let's move on... and BEAT AUBURN!

re: Media's Misrepresentation of Miles
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/20/11 at 8:09 am to filmmaker45
I'd like to see the look on Chizik's face and the new starting QB!
Would be another trick play by Miles throug the media this time! Either way we win with style at Tiger Stadium!
re: Noticing tons of Mizzou to SEC This morning
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/18/11 at 9:21 am to TopWaterTiger
I like the True East/West split idea! We can keep Florida as our permanent or switch it to Auburn or Alabama.
re: LSU's new permanent East opponent: South Carolina?
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/18/11 at 8:49 am to ACT
Not at all man. Good rivalry and the possiblity of playing each other in the SECCG is even better!
re: Bama would support Mizzou in SECE
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/18/11 at 8:30 am to jturn17
Moving Bama and Auburn to the East would balance out the power in the SEC. Or we can swap Tennesse to the East and move Arkansas to the West! I like the sound of a LSU vs. BAMA SECCG actually!
re: The "Big Six"

What happened to LSU(2 BCS) as well. 2003 and 2007! AND 2011???? We'll have to see I guess. Geaux Tigers!
re: Another reason why Bama does not want AU in the East
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/11/11 at 11:50 am to allin2010
If its gonna happen I say put Missouri in the East and put Alabama in the East, they can still continue to play there rivalry Tennessee. :) I'd like to see a LSU vs Bama SECCG every year!
re: Mizzou to SEC today?
Posted by MachineTiger on 10/11/11 at 11:19 am to adono
I say bring on two of the following as well; Clemson, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Florida State! ;)

We have the pieces, 100% agree.
re: Had Lsu lost to Tennessee.......
Posted by MachineTiger on 12/30/10 at 7:06 am to willeteal
Alot of would have, could have going on. Fact is we are 10-2 and in a good bowl game with a chance to finish out the season 11-2. Considering the QB situation thats good, and nexy year with Mett. who knows.... Hopefully help pre-season rankings for next year with a big win! I mean look at how many games Auburn won by less than a touchdown, some would say luck, I say that's football. What makes it exciting...... unpredictable at times! Geaux Tigers!!

Spread may work for some programs sure, but for LSU I think we build off a strong run game along with big plays from physical, big WR's. Metts a pocket passer that could manage the Pro-Style perfectly. With the stud RB's coming up we need to run the ball. These discussions is why fans love college football. Exciting, entertaining, and unpredictable at times.
re: State of our Coaching Staff- Just My Opinion
Posted by MachineTiger on 12/29/10 at 10:29 am to EricB
All we need is a good OC that runs Pro-Style to go along with what we already have and with Mett this team can be very dangerous. Not to mention the quick, young, and very talented D we have coming up. Bright future for LSU Football!!!

Posted by MachineTiger on 12/29/10 at 10:23 am to GCHunter
TOP, and wear the opponents D out, and at the end of a close game can be the deciding factor. Love a tough, hard nose run game with a well timed passing game. With our D, we could control the entire game. With Mett on board could be awesome things to come......
re: NCAA has set new guidelines.....

Enough said..... looking forward to our bowl game, next years team with Mett on board. LSU's future is bright, full of young talent.
re: Who should be the front runner for LSU OC????
Posted by MachineTiger on 12/29/10 at 7:49 am to DeeHorton
Thanks guys, just curious or hoping for a change after watching or offense struggle the last couple of years. We got the talent, just need a good OC to go with it.
re: Thoughts on David Shaw and Greg Roman?
Posted by MachineTiger on 12/29/10 at 7:47 am to JOHNN
Would be a great upgrade, and a much needed one for LSU Football. To go along with the recruting, defense makes us very balanced I think. Can only hope for this......

My bad, wrong board....
re: Has anyone heard that Crowton
Posted by MachineTiger on 12/29/10 at 7:07 am to TheCaterpillar
He has done horrible in player development, and play calling has been too predictable. QB coach would be great to ahev also. Need a pro style OC, to complement Miles need to run the ball, dominate the line. With of course some big catches from our stud receivers thrown in there. LOL
