I know a common term in the NFL is hitting the " rookie wall" . Can this not be applied to college football as well? The back two levels of our defense is littered with freshman and first year players. The grind may just be getting to these guys. Still, have to be proud of these guys ( 18 & 19 yr old men) for not only surviving, but excelling in the best conference in football.

Can Aggie fans not afford satellite tv? La tech damn near punched there independence bowl rematch. And watch wat Fla and LSU did after two drives, SEC dynasties are built on line play and depth. Not trademarked nicknames.

Has Johnny football been shooting whiskey lately? He seems 10' tall and bulletproof this week. This seems to have bled off into there fanbase...

I'm a diehard LSU fan, but Saban has proven he is elite in the college coaching ranks. Damn near every recruit we get we have to overcome the " Saban " factor. My point is this, something seriously drives this man! Wat is it?? A college dynasty or another shot at the league?

Should Bama thank A&M??

If Bama won it all this year with an " NFL " team, who says Saban stays content there?? As intense as he is, it only wears on a man, you need a source of motivation. Now he has that. Unfortunately he's going nowhere.
Didnt the Giants kneel to end the half? Didn't see the defense fire off the ball then. Complete bullshite play & excuse to end that game. BTW No one paid attention to how you did it at Rutgers.
I know we have a stacked backfield, but Ford was the only one who could get the edge against Bama . His homerun ability is sumthing that could make the difference in a tight game again.
A great punter can be the deciding factor in close games, just look wat Wing contributed on Nov. 5th against Bama . I think it would make alot of sense for an established franchise such as the patriots or steelers to draft him in the first. Make sure you can flip the field in close games instead of drafting a project.
Wow, as a football fan we view alot of these defensive players like warriors, gladiators. We see there bloody taped up hands planted in Tha frozen dirt. Once Tha ball is snapped, Tom Brady retreats, at the end of his drop we watch Julius Peppers unblocked screaming in on Bradys blindside. Do you want to watch a "thud" tackle?? frick no! We want Gisele to be crying after she sees that hit! This is a testerone driven game! May I please kick the soap box out from under some of you! Peaple act like Sean Payton was caught skinning out baby unicorns for his gumbo. When I tune in on Sunday's I want to watch grown men football. If this wasn't the case we would all take our loaded dwn coolers and watch the local intramural flag football tournament every Sunday evening.

If Tharold Simon can improve his hands and actually snag those ints he drops, he'll be the next nationally recognized lsu freak. He is the evolution of the cb to match up with the Calvin Johnson/Andre Johnson's of the world.

Alot of these kids have talent, the rare thing is the advanced maturity, any LSU fan should be stoked! Its rare a high school qb is praised for accuracy, to me he's a passing tebow. Great off the field with actual pro talent on the field.

This is a great pickup not only for LSU but for the SEC, if there is a flaw in our conference it's the lack of elite QB's right now.

Who do u want? Ryan Grant, James Starks, & John Kuhn? Or Pierre, Chris Ivory, Mark Ingram, and the all everything Sproles? When the tundra is frozen it is much more reliable to lean on the running game.

Yea the niners are tough on D, but if The games in the balance I want our offense against there defense everytime. Don't trust our D to save the day in the playoffs .

U really buying into Alex Smith beating this team? No way we let Frank Gore beat us, we've done way better on D since that terrible Rams game.

Bring on Tha Packers!

We are so much better than we were game 1! Were better suited to win in Lambeu than they are!

re: Patrick Peterson on Offense

Hows Prince how ever u spell his last name doing for the G-men? He was currently benched. There is a learning curve for rookie cb's. It's not like a rookie rb. Prince was injured, had way more time to mentally prepare and was still missing assignments. Peterson has immense talent and a drive to be the best. That combo usually works out.
This is tigerdroppings not SR, ur going to have to sort through sum trash. Who gives a shite though, u clicked on a link, not just pulled a 12 hour shift roughnecking. Exit go to next thread you think will be interesting and shut the frick up.
I've actually used steroids, They definitely can get u swole fast if u bust ur arse and eat right. But they do not give u talent. Barry was great before steroid use. Honestly alot of muscle is not efficient, wat bonds got in power it prolly hindered other parts of his game. But great points by alot of peeps in this thread, so I kno this guy is just trolling
Run right at us, and anything quick in the passing game. We make splash plays on D, we may allow an 8 yard run then have two straight tfl's. Make our lb's hang with Trent in the screen game.
Honestly I think Ford is going to be a surprise high draft pick. He will blow up at the combine, and the tape will show he was effective against one of the best college defenses of all time. Just has to get better at everything else besides toting Tha rock
A properly officiated game is one where everyone is talking about the game and not the calls. A phantom blade of grass really cost us a td? this is painfull
After seeing Mccarron shirtless on the beach with a mural on his chest, that he actually can compete in the SEC.
Driskel intially committed to the Gators when Urban was the head coach, after Urban stepped down he was one of the few Gator committs that never waivered. Seems like he really wants to be a part of that program, be surprising if he has already changed his mind.
I think we've really improved in pass rush, QB play, and the emergence of Ron Brooks as a consistent playmaker. Mingo has really responded 2 the extra snaps he's been getting. Also to beat Bama again we need to keep seeing JJ improving. That defense will get to the QB, you need an athletic QB to offset that pressure or an A Luck type of player ; someone who has bigtime ability and makes proper fast decisions.
Were not the only people who notice Bama is getting a free pass. If Bama does win, it will come as an asterisk beside there name. I don't want half the title, but this point will be made over and over if Bama just barely beats Lsu.
Playing in the SECc game is never a bad thing!
1) these next two games gives LSU the opportunity to be included with the mid nineties Nebraska and early 2000's Miami's.

2) Exposure! Once again were in a primetime game, just one more chance 2 display to young recruits wat LSU is about.

3) We have a fulltime QB now, this game gives Jefferson the opportunity of regaining the coaches trust. When we play Bana again we need to be able to open up, their 8 and 9 man fronts are just brutal.

4) It's another gameday!! I love to watch Lsu play, i wanna squeeze every second left outta this magical season !
Reading that you would almost think Arky won? Almost quit reading after Wilson was praised for his athleticism and Jefferson was merely average.
Instead of bitching about sumones opinion why don't you make your own fricking list. The SEC is once again stacked with great defensive players, not everyone wil get properly recognized.
