Braithwaite is on the phone now he says he has 5 people and 6 dogs in his attic
he said he got a call from a deputy at 2am saying the water was coming in and in about 5 minutes it was already coming up too high from 6 feet to the roof
says he has lived here 75 years and until the wall was built around St. Bernard they never had an issue
he has a chainsaw and has cut a hole in the roof and is waiting for help
heard there was a breach in the back levee and water may have come over the river levee
said he is friends with a deputy and that is where he got his info he said he made a mistake waiting this one out
3 people next door as well
2 labs 90 pounds and a 90 pound pitbull are some of his crew
sounds like a party

you could make a single stack 1/4 way around a regular sized house and then watch the water flood in from the other 3/4
