re: High IQ ADHD adult diagnosis

Was diagnosed in my 30’s. Tried Adderall for a bit, but I’m done with it. It was great, got a shite ton done while I was on it, problem was that I the felt like complete garbage on the off days when I didn’t take it, and I was overall less productive than before factoring the off days in. And your brain adapts to it so quickly that you max out the dosage quickly. It kinda fricked my shite up for a while. I hear there are now non-stimulant meds that may be worth looking into, but I’m pretty okay with poor focus. I’m used to it.
Yes, it only took me 42 years and a near death experience to realize that I’m just not as important as I used to think I was. 99% of the time putting others before yourself goes unnoticed and unappreciated, but it’s amazing how much peace it brings to life.
You generally want to stagger Ibuprofen and Tylenol. So if the dose is 200mg of ibuprofen every six hours, take the Motrin now, then take Tylenol 3 hours from now, and so on.

Imagine it like a camera; if the film is all messed up, it doesn’t matter what kind of lens you use. The photo will always be blurry.
I somehow got roped into seeing them in concert; didn’t know the songs, didn’t understand the lyrics, yet it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.

Longer lifespan, but more electric scooters at Walmart.

3. Criminalization of algorithmic amplification: Amplifying "harmful" content through algorithms becomes a crime. Danger: Governments will dictate what you see, burying opposing opinions and creating state-controlled echo chambers. Free exploration of ideas? Missing—replaced by curated propaganda.
Aren’t the algorithms the very things that bury opposition opinions to individual users? Also, I’m failing to see how algorithmic amplifying on social media = government control over content.

Yeah, I was wearing Dad’s Polo Green to the 3rd grade smelling like cigarette smoke, grass, absynthe and leather. Maybe if today’s kids wore some 80’s Polo they’d sprout some chest hair and own a house.
Nola’s Italian? I always assumed it was a Louisianaian surname.

Morton Iodized. 1/4-1/2 tsp. Very affordable.

May be that it’s too much for a high schooler
re: For those of you who live or have lived in Chicago, what's so great about it?

I’ve only visited many times, but lots to do, easy to get around, surprisingly walkable, good food and bars, great art and architecture, friendly people, Wrigly, nice blues and music scene, and it’s sparkling clean in the non-ghetto parts. It just has a chill vibe. It does seem like it would be a nice place to live, at least in the Summer. Winters are probably depressing.

You get used to it. You learn what to do and not to do. If you’re living there, you probably don’t have a lot of fancy stuff worth jacking, but cars are always getting broken into. Best thing you can do is get a barky dog.
Yes, he was definitely a household name. Back the we only had like 3 tv channels so we had no choice but to watch the news and stay informed on world events.

We shouldn’t have to replace so many players next year. Cupboards will have been refilled.
