Twist: She was Pat Dye's pants

So you're saying she was washed up (on shore) and had to be hung out to dry. Sounds about right.

I'm pretty sure CBMFP left a note somewhere explaining what happened

Actually he wrote the note on his face, but he left THAT on some country road blacktop.

I dont see John L Smith anywhere

I hear he's not quite the sailor that John Paul Jones was.

interim is likely as it is not the best time to look for a head coach.

Not according to THIS.
Hmmm. I'll take "BCS winning quarterbacks" for 1000, Alex.
Marshall would be great for USCe -- I knwe him well when he was at Winthrop -- was a member of his Tip Off Club there -- an offshoot of the Eagle Club. We were basketball-specific and helped him with promotions and getting a holiday invitational tournament started when he was there... He's driven, and a darn good coach. Good recruiter... loves the kids but has high expectations for them, which is good.

I know exactly one delusional Gator fan and I think he's just plain bat shiite crazy.
I'd think that would be true of the delusional fringe of any fan base.

I guarantee we have our share of the b-s-c types you noted, but they more likely than not tend to be our "Wal-Mart" fans, if you know what I mean (bandwagon hoppers with no actual connection to the school).

Auburn is 60-18 (76.9%) in those six seasons... 30-8 as DC... 30-10 as HC.
Hmmm... Looks like even WITH the BCS title in his stretch as HC, Auburn was slightly better off with Cheezits as DC.

Lots of man love in here.
This thing really swerved off the road into the tall grass, didn't it?

iwNhi
Me either... in fact iwNhi with the OU cheerleader's junk. Just sayin'.

He also made a laughable statement about Saban making people forget about Bear Bryant...
I couldn't believe he actually thought that, much less said it. And... yes, he tried way too hard to make it exciting and failed miserably in the attempt.

Officially he was short and a bit wide left.

Does Dunkin Donuts make Keurig cups?
Yes. At least in our area you have to buy them from the DD full-service locations.

Put me down for Dunkin', too. We've been making it at home for 10-12 years now.

legend posts here
Really. That's cool.

Wonder if any of the others do... One thing's for sure you could tell who Jim from Crestwood was because each post wold be a 750 word sentence. I've never heard someone talk for so long without taking a breath.

that coach looks exactly like Saban
Yeah, I was wondering when Saban had left T-town and just who the heck that was who'd replaced him.
LFed said at his introductory news conference that he's known Mack for a long time and whenever he'd go out to that area he'd call Mack and go by and talk to him about football and coaching. Sounds like he sees Mack as a mentor of sorts.

What was his downfall there?
Other than losing to Wyoming and being lazy, everyone finally got tired of him squealing on other programs to keep his own out of trouble.

the Horns won't be able to get Macster out of town fast enough
Texas sure did a good job getting him out of Chapel Hill in a hurry.

Every now and again a punter engages in some real badassery... Like This

i think he nailed it with the munsonisms
I even heard Munson in my head as I read it. I was hoping for a "...hunker down you hairy 'Dawgs..." but the "hunker down" part at least was in there... either way it's Munsonpalooza.

Thats alot of candles on his cake.
Man, I didn't know there was someone older than Paterno coaching out there.

Great point. If any school could do that it would be Texas.

Nice to see that Saban's Manchurian candidate is working out well up in Knoxville.

Time will only tell with our plant down in Gainesville.

Nice

For me, it's a top 2:

1 - LSU -- We had fun last year leading up to and after we played you guys in ATL to begin the season. Plus... most of the LSU fans here didn't pile on us for our NCAA troubles and many pointed out how cooperative we were. Thanks...

2 -- South Carolina -- my daughter and son in law went there... as did a pile of my money.

He's just waaaayyyy ahead of everyone else. I think the "aw shucks" act he portrays is a TOTAL ploy. Genius on his part, really. Gotta love it!

He will probably show up spelling his last name with a t at the end or some dumb shite like that.

Not sure where that's coming from.

@ClayTravisBGID - Clay Travis
No truth to Franklin to UNC rumors. Expect Vandy extension and salary increase for Franklin to be done by weekend.

Losing Lattimore is the big one.
So true. HBC had much more to overcome than just a head-case quarterback. I'd give him props for getting to 10 wins given all that. Probably good enough to be considered one of the top SEC coaching jobs this year

Not as long as Miles, Saban, and Spurrier keep their current positions.
Certainly makes the mountain he'd have to climb a bit steeper.
