This Bianka Bell chick seems to be getting all kinds of accolades. According to the LSU site in the comments section, "Kelsee Selman" is an LSU commit as well from the 2013 class. Two 1st Team H.S. All-Americans? Beth is doing some work on the recruiting trails it looks like.
Sad to see her go, but thanks for all of the memories Alison!!!
LSU softball won 4-0 today with Rachele Fico getting the win. The winning streak has now been extended to 21 straight for the Lady Tigers softball team and move to (26-4, 8-0 SEC).

LSU swept Ole Miss today 7-1 and 2-1 in a midweek SEC Doubleheader at Tiger Park. Fico picks up the win in relief for Brittany Mack who gave up a run at the top of the 5th. Tigers now move to (23-4, 5-0 SEC) and extend their winning streak to 18 consecutive wins. They next play Auburn this weekend.

WP- Rachele Fico (9-2)

who is the really good one from New Jersey?

It's Connecticut and you must be referring to Rachele Fico. She pitched the 1st game and had a solid outing, but the offense didn't give her run support and she took the 1-0 loss. She went head to head with UNC's 2-time All American pitcher in Danielle Spaulding. LSU stranded 10 batters in that game But they bounced back against DePaul and won 4-1.

Oh and yes LSU is winning 1-0 against Texas so far. Gametracker has been full of glitches all weekend so far.
Can we call the Sportscenter Top 10 plays the LSU Top 10 plays?

Fullerton homers to make the score now 2-1 LSU.
2-0 LSU Top 4th and apparently Langoni busted her aluminum bat.
Shortridge doubles to centerfield. Runner on 2nd with no outs.

Edit: Runners on 1st and 2nd due to a blown fielder's choice at 2nd. 0 outs

BASES LOADED: Rachel Mitchell bunt down the line to load the bases with 0 outs.

1-0 LSU Bot. 3rd
Intentional walk... 2 on, 2 out.
A single to the right than a stolen base has Fullerton with a runner on 2nd with 1 out.

1-0 LSU

Edit: A soft liner to first for the 2nd out and runner on 2nd.
Mouse grounds out into a double play to end the inning. Unfortunate the ladies couldn't capitalize on that opportunity.

It's funny you said that my mom and little sister just got back from Orlando and said the same thing. My little sister's Dance Academy went to Orlando for a performance and my mom told me how there were tons of people with LSU apparel on all over the place. I wonder what was with all the people? Was it people taking a vacation on the Mardi Gras break? People going there to support the cheerleaders at their National competition? What?
