Also, as a side note, the officials absolutely can not allow that kind of delay to happen. What an absolute shite show. There was basically a 2nd halftime break. Took them far too long to decide what the commentator mentioned at the very beginning of the delay was the play (voiced shot clock).

Their court announcer was cringey. He had trouble letting there be any dead air. Seemed to love his own voice. Even after the shot clock was fixed, he kept counting down over the speakers at 15 seconds and then 10 and under... 10, 9, 8, 7... when Georgia was on offense.

The Georgia folks were, as always, very amiable and gracious.
May the Lord bless you and bring you the knowledge and peace of Himself forever.
There were some really dumb dudes when I was in school who thought they were Johnny, and met some gruesome endings at the hands of ball players.
We have the best and worst fan base in America.

I'll be there. Ready to yell, "That's my man" at GA freethrow shooters while their crowd is quiet.
I guess that's right. We didn't lead until the very last. Unbelievable storybook ending.
I absolutely love this. Hate Barnes and Tennessee

It is not up to us to appeal. It is up to Bediako to appeal.

This is what you go with? Sophomoric pedantry with words?

Get out of here, dude.

How many JUCO squads in Alabama would beat RI? I’m thinking several.

 No.
We've just decided to let that Acuff kid rip us a new one.

We could miss a regional and have a team ERA of 6.00+ and LTL would still vouch for JJ to get another year. He must have met him once and “he seemed like a great guy” or some

Do you make all of your life decisions with this kind of sloppy reasoning?

Williams is playing so tight, you couldn’t drive a 10 penny nail up his arse. He is petrified to play. Worst case of the yips I’ve ever seen.
Please tell me they haven’t scored 12 times.
Baseball has the third highest revenue, albeit, far behind basketball. It is way ahead of rowing. We spend more on equipment, facilities maintenance and NIL for baseball so the losses are higher. This is because men’s baseball is far more important to the average fan than rowing or, for that matter, any women’s sport. This is proven by raw revenue.
It’s the first game of the season. Most of the elite teams over the last several seasons have lost preseason match ups, often to teams they have no business losing to.

We on the other hand have plowed through our early season looking like world beaters, only to have disappointing conference records and get bounced in the first round.

Let’s not read too much into things just yet.
Well, of course! We lost, so someone’s head has to roll to assuage our 14 year old mindsets.
Kind of 6 in one hand, half dozen in the other. Good if he’s truly elite. Bad if out upper class men are just that underwhelming.

Bediako’s impact wasn’t really shown on the stat sheet. But just watching him there was a competency at the position that doesn’t exist anymore. Offensively(screens and dunks) and defensively.

Agreed. Bediako brought a mature steadiness to the team as well. I imagine he probably tought some the younger guys a little about how to prepare and to compete too. I mean, Philon is only a sophomore. Same with Sherrell, IIRC. We have two freshmen that play pretty regularly too.
