You do know that Powers makes UA uniforms, right? Nike used to use them, but moved all of their stuff overseas. UA started using them at least 5-6 years ago.

He threw very well last week against Denham as well. His slider has a real tight spin and breaks hard. People from the Central program are saying he won't qualify though and will have to go the JUCO route.

Possible, but why commit to PA when you will have schools within the next 3-5 years come open like EA, Dutchtown, Central, and most probably a few other schools. If he keeps evolving as an OC like he did this past year, then he will have his pick at what school to go to, if he wants to be patient until the right job comes along.

Vice isn't leaving Denham Springs. He can be the play caller for an all american candidate running back for at least 2 more years. If he leaves, it's going to be for a big head coaching job somewhere. What better way to build your resume, than to have it as a highlight video for a recruit like he has now.

Simoneaux definitely wanted it at first. He interviewed twice for it. The problem with walker is the fact they don't have a booster club. He would've taken a significant pay cut from offensive coordinator to head coach. On top of that, walker administration wanted to retain all of the coaching staff. If I'm taken over an 0-10 team, I want to bring a few of my own guys with me.

Agree. This is why I quit posting last night. I got my information first hand from somebody that handles Tevins recruitment and its a situation where they feel like he is getting pushed out. His family can't afford a semester at lsu and on top of that defensive line is one area where you can't afford to miss a season. You get passed up quick on the depth chart.

I have nothing to gain by coming on here saying stuff that's not true. I know while I was there yesterday, talk between coaches were how to break the news to him.

I agree to an extent, but grades have been in question for at least a couple of months. You don't wait until a week before signing day to ask him to grey shirt. I mean they just saw him face to face on a visit and could've told him. Instead, they let his high school coach break the news.

I talked to someone very close to the situation yesterday. On the official visit this past weekend, him and his mom were told they had nothing to worry about. Got a call yesterday from lsu asking him to gray shirt because they don't think he will qualify. Word from the denham program is he will qualify without a doubt. Hopefully it all works out. If they do ask him to though, I feel for the kid. Guy bleeds purple and gold.
