I said it last week and ill say it again this week .......... When the coach is soft so will his team be soft. Its crunch time and were not getting better were leveling off ........ not a good combination for ending strong. So to all you fans that are ok with mediocrity, you must be happy campers..... since when is not going to Omaha and not performing OK ........... Why just because we get there?

Last week before the Texas A&M series i got pummeled by LSU zealots for suggesting that LSU is soft and the players reflect the man at the top of the program. After this past week and weekend losing to average instate teams as well as to a very mediocre Texas team, i have to reaffirm my position that mental toughness plays a roll. Maybe the players need less time playing Xbox and more time in the batters box ..............
I was plumbed by LSU excuse makers last week for suggesting that LSU is SOFT.... and it reflected the man at the top of the program. I also suggest that LSU doesn't win the close games for that very reason. Maybe we spend to much money on the program and make it to cushy. less time playing xbox and more time in the batters box might be in order.

To all who end their congratulatory remarks to LF with a "BUT", have probably never played a minute of athletics past grade school. LF came to LSU and gave it his all even when he wasn't 100%.
He made the exact correct decision,,,, its a meaningless game, and to the so called loyal fans ( well except when it doesn't go their way), have never had to risk a 20 million dollar signing bonus by falling out of the top 10 picks, because of not healing before combines.

I actually dont disagree with any thing you 2 just said ...... well other then he over coaches we will have to agree to disagree .......... He does stay with pitchers to long to a fault but thats another story.
