This is pretty much the scenario for us. While I’d rather go to the Sugar bowl, I don’t think Alabama will be able to beat UGA if they play like they have the past 2 weeks

You are correct. He’s rated as the #7 prospect regardless of position and the third pitcher (behind Leiter and Rocker from Vandy) according to mlb.com

At this point, I kind of wish we brought in Miller and let him finish out the rest of the game regardless of what happens. At least then, Bianco wouldn’t be tempted to pitch him tomorrow.

Yeah he definitely hasn’t had his best stuff tonight. Fastball has been topping out at 88-89 mph and he’s been missing high all game.

I realize he has double digit strikeouts but something has just seemed a little off tonight.

I agree we are lacking in several areas. But we also have a lineup that leads the SEC in batting average, top 5 in the SEC in runs scored, and have two weekend starters that can go head to head with anybody in the country when healthy. And yet, our only decent series wins all year are VS South Carolina and opening weekend in Texas (I have no idea how we won all 3 of those games BTW)
