Two heavyweights going at it and the game takes its toll on both teams.
If by heavyweights you mean Tyson vs. Spinks then I can see your point. That game didn't seem to take its "toll" on Bama as the following game they beat #1 MSU.

With the downward trend of lsu football I'm not even sure I dislike them all that much anymore. It used to be fun to dislike them but when you consider the fact that they're just an 8 win ball club and likely to finish last in the West next year, just not sure I can get up for it like I used to.
Grundy plays pu$$y ball they don't do that in BR. Terrible fit, imo. Hud or Schiano would be good fits down there.

Do to the timing I highly doubt it. Maybe if BB had been here 5 plus years but he doesn't strike me as a job jumper. I've been wrong before and will be again, so who knows?
In regards to Les leaving the SEC I'm all for it. He recruits at a high level and his players break there back for him. He's not the best coach but he wins a shite load of games. LSU could do way worse than Miles and it would have to be the right fit to do any better.

Not everyone gets the garbage pail kids from the East. Congrats on beating UK and a downtrodden UF team. Our coach is in year 2 of what many considered a 3 to 5 year rebuild. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, we'll have the same amount of SEC West wins. Hopefully the bowl committees won't penalize us for one of our West wins being the biggest shite stain in the division. If you're a good stock broker you sold lsu on January 6th 2012 and haven't looked back. You are at an 11 year low. 17-zip, nada, zilch.
