DEVELOPING: #LSU entered the night with a verbal agreement from #Oklahoma Head Coach Lincoln Riley, according to multiple sources. They could meet as early as tomorrow depending on the results of Bedlam.

Of course it was only verbal so things could change, stay tuned.

LSU’s offer will be between 12-13 mil per year, Oklahoma could match but have not shown interest in paying that much money.

@BobbyJindal: .@LSUCoachMiles is a great coach and a better man. He is a fantastic ambassador for our state. I hope he remains our coach.

LSU is now a true pro style offense with a very good qb coach since the departure of crowton. no way we would have landed GK (or be in the BCS championship) if les had not made changes to the offensive staff after last season.

if LSU wins, will be 3 in a row for les over nick - that's massive pressure on nick given consensus is nick was outcoached in the last 2 games
i know it may not be a popular idea on this board, what is keeping the anti-rematch crowd from voting OSU #1? those #1 votes would get OSU over bama

lsumatt - are the big 12 coaches all voting for ok state over Alabama enough to get ok st to the championship game or will others need to vote the same way? Also could the big 12 coaches vote ok st #1 to get them in?
if the big 12 coaches vote for ok st as their #1, is that enough to put ok st over bama?
We couldn't hit last year (even with mikie in the lineup) - PM decides a change is needed - he gets a new pitching coach.
have been through whole thread - just skimmed the beginning - but saying alabama is the best team except for kicking is like saying arkansas is the best team in the sec except for their defense
emmert led the search to hire saban as "string music" joe had hired hallman (passing over spurrier) & dinardo

Having a hobbled player field a punt is bad coaching
Most likely rematch is versus Oregon who could win theIr conference - as a voter much easier to take the team who won their conference and lost to LSU versus the team who lost to LSU and did not even get to their conference championship game

Rematch is coming - versus the PAC 12 champion Oregon ducks.

re: Mo vs. PP7

i love PP7 - but mo doesn't cramp up like PP7 did while he was in school - so i am going with mo

What is the Hat's record after bye weeks? We really are lucky to have this guy in charge of the program.
Remember, remember, the fifth of november

assuming JL had 3 passing TD's yesterday, LSU will have thrown for 13 TD's this year with 1 pick, last year LSU had 10 passing TD's & 11 picks, massive improvement

i hear u on being nickled & dimed - but who is really not going to show up?
seriously - who is really going to quit tailgating? the damn flatscreens in the tents cost more than a season of parking fees
games i have been to & seem to talk about:

florida 07 - wildest sporting event i have ever been too

tn 05 - monday night football in tiger stadium, didnt end up well though

auburn 05 - still remember yelling "he missed it" as auburn's FG kicker pushed it in OT

ole miss 06 - band played "hold that tiger" as many times as they could that 4th qu so bowe & russell could get us to OT

auburn 95 - was the late espn2 game so it started at 830 local time - sat in the student section & had never seen that many people drunk in my life
