Is it? But also, what the public would view as success versus what Sony would view as success is totally different.
If Sony expects or projects 15 million copies sold but they only reach 10 million copies sold, that would be a pretty large failure in the eyes of the suits at Sony. Which obviously could influence the future of the franchise (positively or negatively)
I’m really curious how the executive/board meetings go when these games inevitably fail. Like do they all just pretend they have no idea why these games failed catastrophically or are they actually honest and just seething that once again the gaming public rejected their DEI garbage.

The fact it can hit native 4k 60 fps on a 7900xtx which is around on par with a 4080 leads me to believe it should be able to run well on a PS5.
The PS5 build will probably run at 720p or 1080p internally and they likely will have to scale back the raytracing effects adjust LOD, but definitely seems like it should run.

My personal conspiracy theory is that From and Sony have some sort of backroom handshake deal that they’ll remaster/remake Bloodborne for the PS6 launch.

The “Backrooms” as a concept originated from a random anonymous user post on 4chan. A lot of people found the concept of an infinite liminal space with a looming unknown entity potentially stalking you interesting and scary. The YouTuber Kane Pixels made the best adaptations of the concept and they got popular enough to draw the attention of movie producers it seems.

The loss sucks, but it also gave Jay a chance to really evaluate some of these pitchers and figure out which ones really have the stuff and mental fortitude to be relied upon when it will really matter.

A few months ago there were articles talking about how internally Microsoft wanted Xbox to reach 30% profit margins, which is insane and ridiculous for a consumer game and console company.
I fully expect this woman who was appointed as the Xbox head was put there to lead the wind down and ultimate collapse of Xbox.

Apparently the review embargo drops 2 weeks before the games release, which I think is a very good sign. At the very least the studio is extremely confident in their product.
He was also a big Nick Fuentes fan
