Exactly. Imagine how terrible you have to be to destroy a team like LSU. This is a huge stain on BK's coaching career. He could have gone down as one of the best if he had come here put some effort in, win a Championship, then ride off into the sunset with $100 million in the bank!

LSU can be what Bama was with Saban whenever we have a competent coach to lead the team. I think Lane wants to chase Saban's legacy. He would be talked about as one of the greats if he gets 3 or 4 Championships before he's done at LSU.

It would be amazing to get Lacy. But if youre spending $2+ million and a buyout I'd much prefer to have the Colorado LT for $3 million. If it's a pick one situation.

I just hope he can get all these new coaches and players to gel sooner rather than later in the season. And then hold on to most of them come next portal season to make a serious run at a Championship. I know most people want to see a run this year and they have a good reason for it. But its going to take some time for Lane to get things sorted and up to his standards. Hes off to a helluva start though!

Just wait for years 2, 3, and 4, when he can recruit the players he wants from high-school and show them the results. This could become a snowball rolling down hill! Can't wait for these upcoming years of LSU football. We should be in the playoffs year in and year out. All because of a Head Coach that wants to win and will do what it takes to get us to our next Championship!

I would think Mr. NIKE is paying him well over $5 million to choose Oregon over the NFL. His rookie deal would have been somewhere around 4 years $45-50 million
