I usually end up using mine for regular season too. I hunt in a place where my longest shot is probably 50 yards. Great for that. I won't be selling.

I've got a 40 cal smith and wesson. I have shot a few handguns and it is my favorite. My wife has a 38 spl. She loves it and can shoot it very well. Of course the 38 is an upclose gun.
Primitive Firearm Season

Some know it all at the camp said that he heard 45/70's and 444's could not be used this year for primitive firearm season. Back to black powder! Can anyone tell me if they have heard this?
