re: Grand Jury: Jordan Jefferson - Simple Battery...Josh Johns - No True Bill

Something tells me Josh probably would disagree with you bout "justice" being done.
Huh? No charges. Wrong place at the worng time? Lesson learned. I disagree
quote:
suspending his starting qb for 4 games is example enough...you must have forgotten that the DA has already said that there was inclusive evidence against JJ...dont be surprised if the DA's office dismisses this simple battery charge against JJ
The DNA evidence was inconclusive. The evidence was enough that grand jury determined to prosecute, but they felt the injuries not severe enough for 2nd degree battery

It's not about loyalty, it's about doing what is best for the team and what is best for the team at htis point is for Lee to continue as starter.
Disagree. with miles it is about loyalty to a fault sometimes, but better than being unloyal to a fault
quote:
So he should or shouldnt be allowed back?
Should be, but he is not the starter. And I hope Miles is as loyal to Lee as he was to JJ
quote:
Why these JJ haters are trying to stir shite up is beyond me
Chill..do not be so serious. Most people want to see justice whatever is was, and we did, and he is reinstated. But there are plenty plenty that were hoping for him to lose the starting job in the spring. He job is now lost and Miles is about as loyal to his new starter as they come.

And for those that don't know, there is no way in hell JJ will accept the lesser charge and plead guilty. Why? Because he didn't get in a fight! JJ was picked because someone thought they were going to get paid!
Paid by who? If I was going to try and get paid, I would say Claiborn or #7. Not someone with no future. I know his auntie dont have it
quote:
I am going to lmao when JJ turns out to be better then some of you think. I hope he tears it up.
The only thing he may be tearing up is the playbook... oh wait he never had one
quote:
I don't get whats dumb about it? you get tickets for numerous misdemeanors. You go in plead guilty, get your sentence and go home. You just don't understand how the judicial system works. Not everything is like traffic court homey.
Well then clarify. Cannot compare getting a ticket for expired break tag to kicking a dude in the head
quote:
I never said he would fricking start, nor should he. Dont be a dumbass. I would be more worried about dudes groping my daughters than my son getting in a bar fight.
Did he fondle her breast through a shirt? Do not let her go to Mardi Gras. vs. having your son kicked in the head.
quote:
You would also be stupid if you wouldnt want a qb with JJ experience on the bench in case it is needed. Just like the a-holes who said Lee should transfer. I bet these are all the same people.
I'll pass. I enjoy not having delay of games, poor clock management, and the deer in the headlights look
quote:
its basically like getting a ticket. he'll probably just plead guilty and make it go away
I have had tickets.. This was a dumb comment
quote:
No trial just sentencing Dummy, the jury has reached the decision DUHHHH
No Dummy. GJ determines whether there is a trial...
JJ can start. Just pick another team.
Let JJ play he loses half the fans
He was indicted. That means there will be a trial, that means no practice.
Jefferson still has his redshirt season
Posted by nolatig on 8/29/11 at 5:52 am
He just won't go away!
quote:
a good OC adapts to the talent on the team
Not when the talent is on the bench. Time will tell this year whether Lee or Jefferson should have been playing. Here are Jeff's stats last year.
Jordan Jefferson, QB LSU 209 att 118 comp 56.5% 1411 yds 7 tds 10 int
Jarrett Lee 54 com 89 att 573 yds 60.7% 2td 1int
Jarrett Lee had one pick in 89 atts. He has not had a chance since being thrown in as a fresh
quote:
did you not want Crowton fired?
No. I wanted Jefferson to sit so we could run a real offense.

Crowton's problem wasn't a lack of creative playcalling--it was developing talent and coaching quarterbacks
Developing takes time. Lee and Jefferson were Freshman thrown into the fire. Jefferson is a deer in headlines and will never develope.
quote:
everyone on this board wanted Crowton fired
Everyone?? You must read what you want
quote:
Miles calls running plays when the other team loads the box! He almost never throws on first down
As soon as Jefferson becaume QB, the offense changed. People say that all of this ruined his career in NFL. All though it is all sad, he had no shot. He is like the 10th best in the SEC.
Did not run it because Jefferson sucks. It turned into "do not lose the game".
Slowed Down Version of the fight

You can see Lowery basically knocked out and then kicked. You can also see alot of power in the kick when it is slowed down.

I remember seeing Eric Andolsek practically passed out and bloodied after a huge brawl with dozens of participants, when he was in his 3rd year at LSU
Yes and those guys should have gone to jail.
It is always turned into the race card. Thank goodness Johns was arrested to shut that crap up
quote:
If you start a street fight, like these guys did against the players
The other 3 did not start anything but got pummeled. Spoken like a 6'9" 240 pound dude that has not been in that situation of getting a broken back.
quote:
(given the circumstance that the only ppl supposedly involved that have a criminal background were the "victims" and somehow their story stuck
It is not public knowledge, but I can assure you there were many many witnesses. I can assure you that there was other evidence from his apartment and the 3 in the truck, one with a broken back do not have a criminal record.
If you tell police "I was not involved" they go to your house and find DNA evidence, do you think they are going to believe your story.
Lee has not had a chance since his Freshman year. He has played much better since then. I will say he manages the clock better. He is also in the best shape of his life.

Were they suspended for being arrested
Duh? Of course. T Bob was suspended for DUI. come down to earth.
That is like George on Sienfeld "Was that wrong?"
quote:
IMO, if a coach suspends an arrested player, it should be so that player can focus solely on his defense . It should be for the benefit of the PLAYER only, not because he got arrested.
Yes forget about the other 100 men trying to win a championship. Bull Sht. its about the team
