Anybody who believes this is an amateur sport over the last 30-40 years is deluding themselves. I personally witnessed an LSU coach handing money to an LSU player when I was attending LSU.
This has, for the last half decade, been a feeder league for professional sports and the money is now public instead of under the table.
The only difference is you can’t fit a million dollars inside a McDonalds bag.

This guy in particular get everything wrong. I remember his call on the Thad Moss play like yesterday. He was absolutely certain Thad didn’t make that catch going out of bounds.
