Will the officiating crew the the BCS game be from the SEC???

nice question.
puke.

Gotta be honest, this could be the impetus needed to overhaul the BCS. Can you say Antitrust?
In all seriousness, seems like Lee's leash was crazy short. And putting him in just to kneel is pretty much an insult.
I can make arguments pro & con for both sides to the debate over whether Lee should / deserves / earned the right to play more, but Ws are Ws.

Winning aside, JJ's play tonight was, um, gross...

My only question at this point is, what impact does this have on recruiting? Not many players would accept the hand that Lee has been dealt.

She has never been a football fan. I think God has blessed me...
Of course they won't let #7's return go... CBS hates LSU. Period.

We just need to win and ignore the nonsense.
Sorry guys, I have a life outside of the internet...

Still new to this... 10th post lifetime
Not going to read through all the Bama lovefest...

Has anyone offered up an opinion on why the computers rank the Big 12 as the toughest conference? Maybe I'm missing something, but OSU's schedule doesn't exactly scream tough to me...

Yeah, yeah... I'm aware that my internet skills are circa 1997.

I've been a fan long enough to remember the Dinardo era... I've always just paid attention to what goes down on gameday.

As for the grapevine, I've lived in La. for most of my life. If a day went by when I didn't hear people talk about the Tigers, then I was on vacation... I guess I kind of expect that after enough time, even I will hear about recruiting news by word of mouth before I discover it for myself.

Apologies for the long delay in responding, and thank you to everyone who responded.

1. I do not intend to carry this gun, but I may carry a different handgun in the future.

2. I have limited experience with handguns, but have been to the range about 8 times and shot 1911s made by Kimber, Springfield Armory, and a custom build that belongs to a buddy of mine who is a Marine. I've also shot a Glock 9mm (don't know the model) a Desert Eagle .45, and .357 (don't know the make).

I just enjoyed shooting the 1911 (regardless of the make) more than the others.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have bought the custom built 1911, but it was engraved "USMC" and I haven't earned the right to own that handgun.

3. I will not have a lot of time to shoot over the next year, but I intend to pick up shooting as a hobby.

4. I'll be moving to Texas in 8 months. So, I'm also trying to decide whether to buy now, move, and take the CC class there; or move, get cert., buy...

5. I am willing to spend $1k if that will buy the look and feel that I want, and will last for at least a generation.

Lastly, I have heard from a few buddies that Kimber's quality is not what it used to be. Since I don't know enough, and am not around it enough, I'm just looking for some general feedback on that as well.
So I just looked at the roster and discovered that Phillip Rivers' little brother is a Freshman here...

1. How have I not heard about this, even through the year old news grapevine?

2. Is there any chance he will be 3/4 as good as his brother?

Looking to buy my 1st handgun...

This is what I'm thinking:

Haven't had the chance to fire too many other makes...

Thoughts?
