re: Playoff tix on sale.

All the original "SEASON" ticket purchases just hit my card.
I just heard they are pushing back sale to the public until tomorrow with the minimum ticket price at $186.

Maybe next SEASON they will figure out a better plan.

Just got an email. you can't make this stuff up.

quote:

We had to cancel your tickets because they were purchased with a leaked presale password that was distributed without our consent. We already refunded your card in full - just give it 7 - 10 business days.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. TBD Smoothie King Center

Date / Time TBA

If you're eligible for the presale, you'll get an email with the new password in a few days. Otherwise please come back when tickets go on sale to the general public.

Onsale starts: TBA

Allowing STH to buy an extra 4 tickets per game just so they can flip them is also no way to treat your fans.

I just pissed they would void the tickets without first sending an email or providing a refund.

If this is how they treat fans, I wont be ordering season tickets like I was planning.

my game 1 tickets were voided. still have game 2 and 3 for now.

Even if they just limit the transfer of tickets in order to limit sales, STH will be pissed.

Timber Beast has been my go to beer for a while. Great double IPA.
Here is the Beer Advocate page on cellaring. LINK
Ideal temp is 55 degrees. Having a beer in the fridge long term is not the best for aging, but is not "bad" for the beer. It does slow the process and dry out corks.

If you do not have a wine fridge and you are in Louisiana I think the fridge might be the best storage for your beer if you are planning on keeping things more than a year. This is because the thing you do not want is temperature swings. You want something consistant and most houses/apartments in the Louisiana area will have some pretty drastic swings. If the beer is in the back of your closet you are just storing beer, not cellaring it.

I swear I have been drinking down my cellar.

I agree on the Kriek rankings. The regular Cantillon Kriek is superior to Lou Pepe Kriek (bottled and draft). It is one of my favorite fruited lambics and gets no hype.
Anyone seen Double Bastard or Lucky Bastard in Louisiana yet?
