It is difficult to determine how good they are because of lack of competition in SEC East. Skewed stats. The QB likes to fling it around haphazardly vs. turnover machine defense.

im not sure that is accurate. I remember statophiles coming up with stats saying the team that won the first one wins the second one during lsu-geo and al-florida champ games.

I think the offense has improved, and home dome advantage will help. Alabama is going to have a player on their offense step up. #3 will not be enough by himself. I would put it at 70 - 30 LSU advantage.

uga is good, but their stats are on steroids due to the abyss that is the SEC East. In all honesty the SEC was not very strong this season.

Did anyone else catch the segment on #3s two daughters. It was an excellent piece. Trent really seems like a great dad. Nice family. Its impressive he still has time for his family with all the obligations he has. In 8 to 10 years when the girls become parents they will be in good shape.

Have Alabama fans posted about what happened in the overtime period. The teams did not look evenly matched in that part of the game.

Has there ever been a Heisman winner that just completely disappeared in the second half of the biggest game of the season? Not flaming but I really cannot think of a recent Heisman winner that won it like that.

The real problem is the crap teams in other conferences. Not a single team can put together a season that deserves a title shot. All have had opportunities to take control of the 2 spot and just flat out could not deliver.
