This is a pretty common misconception because of how confusing multi viscosity oil nomenclature is.
Engine oil does not thicken as the temperature rises. The spec means that the 0w20 oil will be 0w at ambient and equivalent to a 20w at a given operating temperature. They achieve this effect through additives that slow the thinning of the oil as temp rises.
Maybe a better way to say it is that a 0w20 is a 0w oil that behaves like a 20w oil when hot.

Too many incentives to prop the foreigners up to own them. White man doesnt get the same treatment and thus its not as lucrative of a venture.

Many smaller private planes are set up with right and left wing tanks that feed into a small (2-3 gal) header tank. The header tank feeds the engine directly. You have the ability to switch a valve in the cockpit between right/left/both. Both is used for takeoff and landing and can be used for flight. The issue with both is that if flying a distance you may have one tank feeding faster than the other due to flight characteristics. Being able to isolate one tank gives you the ability to pull from one tank to balance out the weight distribution across the plane. It also allows you to pull from the good tank if you develop an issue in flight with the other.

If the audio on that video is accurate there is at least one engine making power.
Another scenario is they forgot to swap tanks and engines died. They put the plane on glide to trouble shoot and figured the problem out and swapped tanks to restart. One engine making power in a low energy twin can be dangerous if not handled correctly. Can induce a flat spin with adverse yaw and without considerable altitude almost impossible to recover.

Thats a 2000ft (at best) grass strip. High transmission lines on the east end.
A twin beech is not filing a flight plan there. I think and hope thats just a fault with flight aware in that when a VFR flight results in a crash the software just assumes the destination is the nearest registered strip.

That graph indicates ground speed. So he could be flying 200mph vertically with 0 ground speed. Head winds and tailwinds affect GS numbers also. If he lost power at altitude like i suspect then he would have put it on a glide slope for max time aloft. Maybe even circled looking for available runways nearby or open fields.
The flight data numbers indicate a glide slope of -400 fpm for several minutes which is good. Im not sure what happened at the end. Maybe put the gear down and stalled it on final? Maybe tried to avoid power lines or houses. Maybe thought he could land on 98 or 93 but there is a lot of traffic on those two roads and changed his mind at the end.
All speculation. Just a plane nerd.

My favorite shirts all have a button down collar. I have several without buttons and they dont get worn anymore.
