re: An Outsiders Take on QB Situation
Posted by caperry on 12/5/11 at 3:39 pm to wolverinehusky
We (LSU fans) are not prejudice. When Les took out the starting QB and put in JJ, we understood. Heck, anybody throw 2 picks against a team like Alabama, ya gotta sit down. We rallied around JJ. Les promised the fan-base that his intention was to use 2 QB's. Well, he righfully pulled Lee out after 2 picks. But, going 2 quarters without a first down and merely + - 50 yards passing for the GAME and elect to keep him in? Really! This is not a black vs white issue. It is about "Say what you mean and do what you say". I felt so bad for Lee last Saturday when Les put him in simply to take a knee. Champion leadership simply doesnt do that to a person. Call it what ya want, put any color to it, or try and spin it......It simply is very unprofessional.
We Expect More!

Those of us from the bayou state of Louisiana love our LSU Tigers. That’s for sure! But, there is one thing we love more, our family. We are not going to throw our brother, sister, aunt or uncle under the bus to promote our self. We are not going to disrespect those that made us who we are! Regardless of the consequences, we stand by our principles of justice. We expect the coach of our team to make champions of our players, not win a championship! We expect our players to be valued, not humiliated. So far this season I have only heard of chasing a championship but seen very little champions. I have heard of fairness but seen too many injustices. Les, you have created a culture among the players and fans that is about to implode. You are going to play for a championship without enough champions. Alabama has something LSU don’t have. They have DISCIPLINE from the top down and justice applied evenly!
