They're right that Lane Kiffin sabotaged Ole Miss and has really undone all the good ever did and even left them in a worse off

Carter single handedly saved our program from a maniacal narcissist. If anything g he proved that he’s the best AD in the country. Looking forward to ending another one of your seasons in the first month. Enjoy baseball season, baws.
Negative
No doubt his situation sucked but everyone knew Lane Kiffin was leaving Ole Miss to go to LSU, the NFL, or Florida as soon as word got out he didn't sign the extension
At that point his two real options are:
1) Try to preserve the program but pretty much throw the best season in Ole Miss history away by immediately locking Lane Kiffin away from the program along with any staff that even seem like they're leaving with him. Don't fire them but keep them off campus
2) Roll the dice for a chance at a real Natty. Have a candid conversation with Lane Kiffin and let him know that you know he's leaving and nothing short of signing the extension can convince you otherwise and ask what staff he's taking and if his new employer would allow him to coach Ole Miss through the Post Season (if so great, if not you move accordingly)
After chosing whichever option you immediately start a real coaching search to land a real HC
Instead Carter was way too soft and chose the worst path possible, giving Lane Kiffin unlimited access to the players and staff but not letting him coach or even prep for the Post Season then he blunders into the biggest unforced error of this whole thing and removes the Interim Tag of Stinky Pete Golding and makes him the HC
Tell yourself all you want that Stinky Pete Will be a good HC but everyone, even you, know better

As cool as that would be I don't think this interview took place
I have no doubt that we employed some very high tech, very secretive EW against Venezuela, but this mission didn't rely on some wunderwaffe
This was classic EW to blind them and jam their comms, stealth attack aircraft for SEAD, MH60-L DAP, and a ton of incredibly well trained and well equipped men defeating a very well trained Cuban 'Black Wasps' Security Team, capturing their targets and leaving without losing a single man
To the Venezuelan Soldiers in Caracas it probably felt like the entire US Military was attacking, that they'd already overwhelmed coastal defenses and units and were already in Caracas. With their comms being jammed they all probably thought they were the last ones left

When fighting a larger and stronger force reject mobility and hunker down behind barricades made of random stuff and allow the enemy to surround you. If you declare that the enemy is not allowed inside of this area, they will be unable to enter it.

The vast majority of the posters roasting Ole Miss are trolling, best thing to do when getting trolled is to respond emotionally to let the trolls know that their trolling is getting to you. Under no circumstances ignore their trolling, always engage emotionally and angrily so that they'll stop

Great game, it didn't go the way they wanted but damn, that was a hell of an effort
The Time of Possesion was:
Miami 41:22
Ole Miss: 18:38
and they only lost by 4
Looking at the stats it looked like it should've been 40-14 but they found a way to stay in until the last second

Still hearing 'Putin owns Trump!'
Posted by BlueFalcon on 1/7/26 at 9:17 pm
And "Trump is secretly working for Putin!"
This and the mental gymnastics that tries to explain how:
Trump “helps” Putin and Russia loses Venezuela
Trump “helps” Putin and vital Iranian Nuclear assets get hit by Israel, then the U.S.
Trump “helps” Putin and Russian tankers get seized
Trump “helps” Putin and Cuba and Nicaragua suddenly look very lonely
Not sure how much more "help" Putin can handle
If Trump were actually some kind of compromised asset, this would be the worst ROI intelligence operations in history

re: How do the PT Democratic Socialists feel about Putin losing control of his puppet Trump?
Posted by BlueFalcon on 1/7/26 at 11:49 am to Bass Tiger
Trump Iran, makes Russia appear weak when they refuse to help their 'Security Partner' and then he knocks their most valuable strategic partner in the Western Hemisphere, the linchpin to their entire strategy in the Western Hemisphere as both Cuba and Nicaragua depend on what is essentially free oil from Venezuela (look up the power outages in Cuba in 2024 and 2025, while they were receiving oil from Venezuela)
With friends like Trump, Putin doesn't need any enemies lol
It's almost like Trump isn't too friendly with Putin at all but that can't be right, all I've heard since 2016 is that Trump is a 'Russian Asset' or something

We didn't dismantle the Venezuelan State, it is still functioning, we just put the fear of God in it's leadership
They will come out and bluster publicly, until they can consolidate power and stabilize the regime, then they'll start moving closer and closer to DC as recent events have proved that:
1) Being in a 'security partnership' with Russia is worthless, they will not lift a finger to help if America moves against you, they'll simply lodge protests
2) China cannot and will not save you, but if you're in the Western Hemisphere you can take their money and then refuse to pay it back and they cannot take physical control of anything
