The situation has been completely misrepresented. An 18-year-old student filmed herself behaving inappropriately while they were out drinking, including carrying on and kissing on Teddi. Teddi should never have been in a social setting with a student, and I am not making excuses for that. However, she does not deserve to be portrayed as a pedophile or sex offender, nor is it true that she was booked for having sex with a student. That claim is flat-out false.
This is exactly what is wrong with the media today — facts are distorted, exaggerated, and in some cases completely fabricated. I legally cannot discuss details, but I can say with absolute certainty that the news article is 100% incorrect.
Teddi took this student under her wing. Just as she’s done with all of her students. She cares so deeply about them and goes above and beyond. She has been an award-nominated teacher, beloved by her students, and anyone who truly knows my sister knows the character of the person she is. This is an all-girls school, and the implication being made is not only false but reckless. Teddi has a boyfriend of almost 3 years. She did not have sex with a girl student — that never happened.
This is a devastating experience — something we’ve only ever read about happening to others — and now our family is living it.
I am in unimaginable pain. I want to defend her publicly, but legally I cannot. All I can say is that this will be addressed appropriately, and every person involved will be held accountable.
Thank you to those who have shown kindness and support. The truth will come out and once it does, I hope it’s an eye opening experience for people to not be so quick to believe everything from the media. My sister is a good person and I will not sit idly while having her name blasted with untrue stories.
And to anyone who shared those articles without knowing or verifying the full facts — shame on you. This is my sister’s life. She is a human being, not gossip or clickbait. This isn’t some “juicy Baton Rouge drama” to be passed around in group texts.

They tried to make it work before this season started. May as well let the season finish and then trade in the off season when there could be more competition for him versus trading him now where only one or two teams would offer you something
