Hoping you guys can help. I'm currently activated for the reserves out in Japan for the COVID support. My Father is in Lake Charles and was just told he has to move out of his house due to mold and mildew with in 24 hours. I have tried everything through the Navy Marine relief, but because I'm on orders that keep getting extended and not on a solid 30+ days they can't do anything to help. I'm trying to get a moving company or something out there to help him. Any leads on a company or something would be a lot of help. Thanks

The best way to view the Persieds is to get to a wide open, dark sky location. If you're in the city, you may see a few but the sky glow will really affect the amount you see. From a dark sky location you should see anywhere from 50 to 100 an hour. In the city, maybe 10 to 20 an hour. Let your eyes adjust to the darkness, find the constellation of Perseus. The meteors will appear to be emanating from there. There are several night sky apps available that will pinpoint constellations. The one I use is SkyView. The best time for viewing is around 3 or 4am. The main thing is to be patient, many minutes may pass without seeing a single one followed by short bursts of activity.

Any one of those cars sound great. What's more important is teaching that young lady how to drive. Find a parking lot with a lot of space. Show her the most common accident causing behaviors. Teach her how dangerous texting and driving is. Show her how dangerous tailgating is. Teach her the limits of acceleration and braking on any car you buy as well as cornering. Push the limits in a controlled environment before she gets on the road. Show her how important it is to keep a bubble of space between her car and all other drivers. Don't worry about her having the safest car on the road. Make sure she's the safest person on the road....
