I would think Georgia Tech could fit in the mix....they won more/recent National Championship than 4 of these schools
Please don't tell me Freeze is going to pull his rabbit out of a hat, not going to happen. If what I keep hearing is true, LF will be visiting the state of FL again soon.
I'm not saying that he goes there but from what I heard he definitely will go back to FSU. Everyone believes that it's only down to LSU/BAMA. I don't believe this... I think it's why FSU was ok with letting Yearby and Sony go was Jimbo was getting a lot of positive feedback from LF.

Just my two cents! Now let the thrashing begin...

The thing we all have to remember is their kids and have a hard time deciding what shoes to wear that day sooo anything can happen
Understand Rocky just like to talk college football dont want to rain on the parade just think there are alot of pumpers that set up the wrong expectations....

Probably should start new thread but how do LSU fans feel about depth at Oline.... Makes me nervous!!!
What was a tell all to me is his Mom shut down his recruiting after Odell made an in home.
I believe AU losing OC and DC was very tough to recover from..... Hard to pull out of state guys on 1st year coaches
Your right or is it that your passion for AU is blinding you from what seems very obvious?
Agree but been 100 percent on my calls so far!
Louis is the wild card but had a great visit with MEJ
I think Bracy, Jaboo, & MEJ were trying to see who could bring in biggest name!
No just the class is really close.....
Darby to Bracy
Goldman and Timmy J, MEJ, Chris Casher, & Jaboo
Williams-"best OV I've been on"
Louis stays with FSU
Darby...FSU
Goldman....just gave the chop when asked in his front yard
Williams.....depends on Fowler but may go to FSU after Fowler annoces
Plus this year i think the ball bounced in LSU favor....clearly very talented but had some pretty good luck the last 2 years as well.

Some of it you guys only hold jr day unlike the the camps for Srs... The year they are really thinking about commiting. Behind the eightball if you ask me
Mark Stoops...No NFL, but

• Odell Haggins enters his 17th season as an assistant coach at Florida State, where he starred on the defensive line from 1986-89. Haggins, who coaches the interior defensive line, is the longest tenured member of the FSU staff. He began his career as a tight ends/offensive line coach in 1994 with the Seminoles and took over the interior defensive line duties in 1996, where he has remained a fixture.

• Named one of the six best defensive line coaches in college football by CBS Sports columnist Dennis Dodd in 2008, Haggins has repeatedly turned out top-flight talent. Since the 2000 season he has coached eight defensive tackles that have been selected in the NFL Draft.

• The litany of standouts that Haggins has coached includes four first round draft picks: Broderick Bunkley (2006), Travis Johnson (2005), Corey Simon (2000) and Andre Wadsworth (1998). Wadsworth arrived at FSU as a lanky walk-on and after a redshirt season, cut his teeth at the noseguard position before moving to defensive end. The No. 3 pick overall (Arizona) in the 1998 draft, he remains the highest drafted player in FSU history.

• In addition to the first-rounders, Haggins' pupils have also included Pro Bowler Darnell Dockett (third round) - whom he recruited and mentored - Andre Fluellen (third), Jerry Johnson (fourth) and Letroy Guion (fifth). Six of those Haggins' former charges are still active in the NFL heading into the 2010 season.

• Haggins has won at every level as a player and a coach. He was on the front end of Florida State's dynasty years, starring at nose guard for the Seminoles. FSU posted a 39-8-1 record with Haggins in the lineup from 1986-89 and was part of four bowl-winning teams. He earned Kodak, Walter Camp and UPI All-American honors as a senior in 1989.

Think the guys will be OK...and plenty of NFL coaches respect Odell so no real concern

Do you guys hang onto Colin Blake?

I think the AU fans are going to be really pissed after RL today and Eddie Goldman and L.Williams both sign with FSU.
And in the future with these guys....
MEJ, Eddie Goldman, D. Fowler, C. Casher, and I believe we land L. Williams which will really piss the Auburn fans off after today!
And you can call me a Troll...I pull for LSU and wish them nothing but the best. Honestly though I chat on here to have educated discussion about college football, besides if you didn't have someone to disagree with you guys you would just sit around and pump each other up and wonder what the hell happened when the wheels fall off.
Hey I'm a transplant.....I love the Saints and prior to last weeks game I was starting to wonder if I was their good luck charm. I had never seen the Saints loose a game since I moved here of course I am not a big NFL fan...I bleed college football and was wondering if I was going to have to move back to Tally because it seems every where I move that team does extreamly well. Heck look and ULL and LSU this year.
Alabama did expose the LSU defense. And look what WV did 513 yards. Not saying LSU won't be at top or near it but the one thing I've learned from living in LA is that alot of the fans let thier emotions blind them from reality.
I think FSU defense might give you a run.
Will say that LSU def as advantage with seat capacity...never understood why they didn't build more seats....or I remember why the last time they added on was in the 90's when FSU was killing everyone and the stadium was half empty by half time.
Plus Doak Campbell is like on of the largest all brick structors in the world...and a lot better looking stadium FWIW. I will give you they do sell more tickets and I do admire the LSU fans...they usually stay through the game...and funny enough I learned they are big at watching the band...I was always use to the band just playing the warchant and that's all they were there for.
And Jimbo and the AD already have the funding to build one....it's coming...don't worry!
The only example I can show you right now is on youtube of the recently redone FSU weight facility. I don't know that the video does it justice; however, recruits walk away amazed...you be the judge.
I will say it again like I always have....LSU has the city of BR which is a large city (for SEC standards) with an amazing near vegas (maybe better than Vegas) city less than an hour away. MEJ wants Night Life so this could be a selling point...but you also have to consider what Tally has...1 hour from P. City (great place for spring break when your in college), Jax beaches (2-1/2 hours, Destin (~3 hours), Tampa with Ebore (3-1/2), Atlanta (~4 hours), New Orleans (6 hours) and Miami (7-1/2 hours)...of course there is also Orlando...but lets be honest that's where the families go.
Not to mention....FSU/FAMU coeds if your MEJ. Not saying LSU doesn't have any eye candy...but no FSU I promise!
