Signing Day Coverage Streaming?

Posted by tigerfan34 on 2/3/10 at 9:01 am
Anyone know if espnu or any other coverage of signing day will be streaming anywhere? I'm stuck in the office all day and want to watch while I "work". Thanks.

on the sides, the students are too damn far from the court

This may be true, but I would much rather have students in the middle of the floor where they can really be heard on both ends of the court, not just on the end they are seated.

Yea I think I heard it was a permanent move as well.

I think they said before the season that it would be on Saturday instead of the usual Friday after Turkey Day
The funny thing about that is all season people on this forum have been calling for Jarrett Lee to at a minimum play a few series each game and some wanted him to start. I wonder how many people still believe that.

I get chills whenever I watch either of those.

Cannon is pretty solid. I went the Saints route when I named my boxer about a year ago. Named him Deuce.

I would like to see more fire out of Les, but I'm grateful he doesn't try to be a cheerleader like MSU's coach Saturday.

Unfortunately, a ring is probably necessary as well, which I think is a silly criterium.

Why do you think considering whether a player ever won a championship is silly? I'm not saying some players should not be in b/c they never won a title (like Marino) but it's not silly.

Cars on fire

Posted by tigerfan34 on 9/21/09 at 4:54 pm
Anyone see the cars on fire after the game Saturday? I saw one on Nicholson extension, but heard on the radio on the way home that there were two cars on fire. Anyone know what happened?

can't throw the deep ball...pssshhh

Just b/c it is a long completion, doesn't mean a qb threw a "deep ball." Ever heard of YAC?

The thing that pissed me off was at both games when a major play was getting ready to happen (i.e. Saints on the 5 yard line getting ready to score) and people decide it is time to go to the concession stand and then block my view as I am trying to let them pass and I miss the play. I mean "Are you here to watch the game or what"?? I just did not get it - it was like they were not even aware of what was going on on the field.

We must have been on the same row at both games. I said the exact same thing to my buddy at the Saints game. It was 3rd and goal for the lions and people were going to get nachos? WTF?

There will be plenty of empty seats due to the weather and the game being on TV.

That's just sad

I would have liked to see the defense take some pride in that final drive.. even if the game was out of reach..

I think you are right that they didn't try as hard, but there was 1 bogus call and 2 missed calls that hurt them on that drive. The phantom roughing the passer and the non called false starts on their right tackle that has been mentioned.

not like that stuff in seattle this past saturday

The weather was amazing there (minus the light rain), but the tailgating was SAD.

But Saturday can't come quick enough. I'm off tomorrow so today will be the longest day of the year at work.

Very well said, and I couldn't agree more.
skeelocunningham

thanks, I think we may hit up sluggers for lunch before the game seeing as our flight lands at 12.

The dinenr/sushi idea was for post game, didn't have to be near safeco necessarily. We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott at Lake Union. Any suggestions for that area that aren't real pricey?

re: Visitor's Guide to Seattle

Is there anything around safeco that isn't a chain that might be more local? Also with the sushi place on the guide, is it decent quality sushi? I ask b/c it's all you can eat. You never really know what you're going to get in that situation.

Thanks again

We are flying in on Wednesday and are going to the Mariners game. Any suggestions of where to eat around Safeco? What about sushi restaurants?
