re: Your LSU collection? (pics of mine)

Nice. I don't have a big collection, but the prized item is the program from Pete Maravich's last game at the Ag Center. I also have a unique pennant from LSU's Final Four appearance in '86.
I was listening to it at work through the 3rd quarter. Decided not to go to the bar and went home instead, where I couldn't get the broadcast. I was watching the score ticker and a friend called me as they flashed the final.
And I thought the highlight of the game would be Donnie Jones's 86-yard punt....

8:10 LSU Rush: Michael Ford rushed left to the Alabama 35 for -3 yards.
Second post in which I've seen someone use the run calls at 9:44 to say Miles was quitting. I can't agree with this. We're down two scores with time left. We moved the ball, got first downs and could have very well set up a big passing play, but the FALSE START made it 2nd and 18 (you left this one off your list for some reason) and all too easy to defend. Two incompletions, then a sack on 4th and 18. If we are giving up there, why didn't we continue to run? Why didn't we punt?
Everyone is entitled to say it was bad play calling, but that possession at 9:44 was not quitting.
I'm not saying he didn't quit on the final possession though. That punt was definitely a give-up.

Also, 2-0 at Jerry World.
I really enjoy these stats posts. Good one!
I searched and didn't see one for this poll.

57% of the world says :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:
Also note:
Texas and Oklahoma are pretty much inverted.
For 12% of Louisianians it's a good thing this poll is anonymous.
If this were politics, we'd be in for a close game (see New Hampshire).

#5 on Rivals, ahead of Texas.
Speaking of attic finds...I found this in mine today. Any ideas?

Does anyone have a screenshot showing where Ridley goes down on that play?
Also, does anyone know how much time ticked off earlier in that drive after Randle's 11-yard grab on 2nd and 16 and the next play? If I remember correctly, that was the only play that did not stop the clock.
