It was not listed as an error because it wasn’t in the baseball terms of an error. But it was an obvious “mistake” aka an error in judgement. Which led to the same result that an actual error would have. We are saying the same thing just stuck on the definition of an error lol. I do agree it should not have been ruled an error because it was not in baseball speak. But it directly led to a guy on base so same thing in my book. I never said he should never see the field. All I said was the experiment of him at first will probably end. May very well be wrong who knows.

It’s not a hate on the guy. But he had two errors that inning no matter what the scoreboard says. That first one that wasn’t counted as an error there’s no reason he should have attempted to field that ball. Jay even said he had a rough night in the press conference. Not breaking any news that anyone with knowledge about baseball should understand.

This happened last year as well. Two weeks right in the heart of the season with pretty terrible play. The rest is history. Baseball is a fickle game.

It’s a long game. You lose a game in the regional or Omaha and you’re very much having to rely on some of these guys. This is to get a try out of who that may be.

We’ve lost to bad teams in our last 4 championships. May be more that’s just the ones I know about. The 2000 team lost 5 straight games in February including a lost to Mcneese in there.

He wasn’t by anyone with any kind of knowledge. Not sure why that matters though as Crews may be the best to do it in purple and gold.

They have no approach right now. Just swinging without a plan of attack. I’m still confident Jay can turn something around and bring some juice, but they need to just start from scratch. A couple of games ok, but they’re going in game 5 of the same crap.

Potentially. Jay like he always does is playing the long game. He is not really concerned with how one day is affected if he can get some movement before SEC play.
