Possibility, they are ranked higher on both SI.com and ESPN.com which would put them in the Sugar ahead of Florida, I think

SI.com has all the polls up and some prelim BCS rankings with Georgia ahead of Florida......

LSU vs. UT in the Cotton Bowl...
10 of the last 12 Cotton Bowls have had SEC West teams
and 14 of the last 15 Outback Bowls have has SEC East teams
and there's this...
"Cotton Bowl chairman Tommy Bain told the Austin American-Statesman on Saturday night that LSU is 'the favorite in the clubhouse.'"
