You do realize there is a huge difference b/t the media and random internet trolls, right?

Sports media personalities are no better than social media influences today. Complete trash out for only themselves and not the story. They become so wrapped up in the perks of the job (access to programs, free meals, coaches/administrators kissing their asses for a better angle, etc). Its a complete farce if we're being honest.

re: When will CFB collapse?

It's an unregulated circus of money-motivated players. It'll take someone fully understanding the system and breaking it so absolutely that it will be nauseating to watch from the outside. Lane might be that guy to do it here; he certainly has the financial backing to do it. Every dollar that's been asked for has been given.

Bama dominated the post season largely for 15 years by stockpiling 4 and 5 star talent. National pundits pushed for playoffs to achieve more national representation, but the thing that no one saw coming was the NIL era.

LSU with its prime recruiting ground and deep pockets might actually dominate the sport and it bring about some changes, but we'll see.
Don't have to roll your window all the way down in most jurisdictions, but you do have to provide the documents upon request. Police do not have to give you verbal confirmation of why you are being pulled over, nor do they have to provide you proof on the roadside. They also may order you out of the vehicle at any time and you must comply.

She attempted to turn the roadside into a courtroom, and there you have it. I am also very much about individual rights, but she screwed up.

Don't have to worry now.

Looking forward to the pretzels that people will put themselves in to oppose this.

I'm more interested in the loopholes that will be used to get around this law. What about private ownership of rental homes? Will this also outlaw the use of LLCs to compartmentalize your investment properties?

Another problem is what that will do to the rental market. You have a lot of people who cannot fork over the down payment on a $200k loan. I think this might have the unintended effect of causing the rental market to skyrocket.
This might be the best offensive line unit I've ever seen at the NCAA level, ever. I think their entire line has legitimate NFL talent, coupled with great blocking schemes and great playcalling, they will be tough to beat.

Reminds me of some of those Nebraska teams from the 90s.

Nice, can't wait to see the show when that place catches fire.

Anyone else just decided to go sober 100% and how’s that going? Was social settings an adjustment? That’s the only time I drink now anyway.

Same here, but my business requires a steady ingestion of socially motivated alcohol. When you are drinking decent amounts 4 nights a week on boondoggle dinners and booster events, it adds up. I'm not even close to being an alcoholic but I'm considering selling my businesses and getting out altogether by 2030.

I can see in that future me not drinking at all, and I likely won't miss it. That being said, I do have a deep love for rare whiskey... but I'm at the point where I have dozens of bottles that I can casually enjoy in retirement.

Burrow 2018 vs Burrow 2019

Burrow in 2018 still made veteran decisions with the ball, the difference in 2019 was the aggressive scheme that played to the entire team's strengths.

Underwood is also a freshman, so there's no telling how much meat is still on the bone. Hard to compare him to a 4th year senior who had a historic 5th year season.

Apples =/= Oranges.

$500-$800k for any decent neighborhood. Who pays that shite to live in f’ing Louisiana?

Most houses in areas with decent public schools in Louisiana start at $250k. Covington and especially Mandeville are exceptionally wealthy suburbs of the most commuter-heavy cities in the State, you shouldn't be surprised.

But if you think that's bad, you should check out the prices of the houses out here.

Absolutely sucks that LSU gets stuck with ar on the final weekend. That game generates the least amount of excitement of any SEC game on LSU’s schedule.

Not many blowout wins between LSU and Arkansas, those games are always nail-biters. I personally liked the day after Thanksgiving game; wife went shopping with my daughters and I usually got to bank on either making the trip to the game or having a nice afternoon bourbon at home.

They always play us close, so not sure what you're on about.
Ole Miss does not have the war chest that LSU has. Only the most deluded fans and pundits believe they could have "matched" LSU in any way.

Coaches in football are and will always be the most equalizing or polarizing force in the sport. Great coaches can flip a below average program into a winner; sustained success, if they stay, can build a franchise and a winning program. That's what Nick Saban started to rebuild here. Great coaches at great programs can galvanize them into much more; that's exactly why Saban did and continued to do for so long at Bama.

Most of the conversations I had in the booster community this year was about watching this football school fall further into irrelevance. Going to be an interesting few years to see what the fruits of the investment will be, but I'm optimistic so far.
Huge props to Lane and Verge for keeping the biggest (secret) weapon secure in Baton Rouge for one more year. I think next year's results will shock some people nationally; after that Blake Baker might land a position much higher than Tulane. I'll bet that's what he's banking on.

Geaux Tigers!
Yep, he likes everything about Ole Miss. But the next college football dynasties will be built on the ruins of a blue blood, he knows this.

Kiffin Is Emotional

But his decision will not be. Relax people.

Ole Miss gave him an opportunity when no one else in the SEC did. I think he wanted to stay, but LSU is a brand he can build a legacy around. Like most players, coaches don't choose Ole Miss over LSU. This is the first step in establishing a dynasty at LSU, and the football program regaining its prestige.

Don't overthink it because he's winning a football game and he's emotional about it. It's hard leaving a program you built. Plus if he lost this game you all would be having reservations about who LSU hired.
I am, but I ate too much yesterday and today I've been feeling the repercussions.
Your pharmacist seems plugged in, I'd also talk to your barber too, better get the other half of that big picture.
But he said "our university", clearly he is staying everyone! Or... if you are dead set on reading too deeply into that, perhaps he's distributing the success so that they can pick up and march into the playoffs. No sorry, that's too logical for those hyperventilating into paper bags over here.

The pushoff should have been a flag, it was a catch though.
LSU was dogshit this year and Ole Miss played down at home. Road rivalry game in the SEC and Starkville gets up for this game. Going to be a dogfight.
