GA/Bama is only a function of them meeting in the SEC Championship game in the last 10 years.

As soon as one of them drop off marginally, it will be over.

Bama/Tennessee, Bama/Auburn, GA/Auburn, GA/FL will always be rivalries regardless of how good the teams are.

I've been on SECRant for over 10 years. It seems like the Bama discussions have dropped off significantly. Is there another site where people go to talk more about football or do people not care about Alabama Football anymore?

Apples and Oranges.

Burrow's journey to LSU is more comparable to Cam Newton's journey to Auburn.

Neither made an impact on the other team.

Hurts was a multi-year starter that played in multiple championship games for Bama.

I know this is foreign to younger Bama fans, but that season was so sweet after years of being just pretty good.

Miami was so fricking hyped-up and we were just also-rans from a tired, hanging on to the old-days, fan base.

I was at the first SEC Championship Game right before that game (in B'ham). After Shane Matthews threw that Pick6, the entire stadium erupted in "Shaaaaa-aaaanne".

That was dwarfed in the Nat'l Championship game when everyone was chanting "GEEEEEE NOOOOO".

Easily one of my favorite seasons.
