When are they coming to Houston? And I'm taking not about the Woodlands.

Congrats. I retired 6 years ago at 54. I have 50% more than when I retired. My boys will be surprised when I kick it.

High School Football Game
During football season I was on the sidelines shooting pics for our local newspaper. Once the season was over I was at a dirt track working on my friends pit crew.

HEB
One by my house has a boil Saturday and Sunday during peak season. They do a decent job and you can go in and get a couple of pounds to take home.
My HEB has them as well. Done right, not dusted or sauced. Usually around $8 per pound cooked. Not too bad. I'll pick a few pounds occasionally.

Daikin is dark and dank
In the spring yes it is dank. Once the roof is open things get much better at Enron Field.
There is no heating in Daikin. Come April you don’t need it. College baseball is too early for games in Houston. That’s why the do spring in Arizona or Florida.
re: Etiquette; Texting your boss on a Sunday evening saying you won’t be at work Monday

What’s the etiquette here? Is it acceptable to text your boss on a Sunday evening (if that’s your form of communication you use) if you won’t be at work Monday due to being sick or your kid(s) sick and has to miss school? What do you guys do?
I ran a small but vital team. Sure I had some upper management that was technically my boss. But I was free to run my department as my own. So I would call my second guy. Tell him what needed to be done. Probably call a client or salesperson to give them a heads up as well. I would likely text the plant president and let him know my underling was in control for the day.
ETA: we had an Online HR system for all employees to use for time off. So I would just log on and mark myself as off.

I mean, if it was in Baton Rouge they absolutely would. Just like they do for every other home game.
What a lot of people or missing is Jay likes to play some early, away games. Gets the team ready for the grueling SEC schedule.
Every game this year, other than the 3 D1 games and a midweek at ULL, are on ESPN or SECN.

Improved = downloading an app on your phone to cast the game to your TV at $10 per game
Stop.paying for this shite
This is just stupid. I'm an LSU sports junkie. Also the $30 fee for three games will not bankrupt me. A lot cheaper than a flight or drive to Jax plus hotel and game tickets.
But go ahead and bitch if you want while I watch the Tigers.

Dont
If you want to watch on your tv, you have to download some 3rd party app that you can’t even stream the game from. You will have to air play from another device. Then if you get that to work, it plays for about 10 seconds then freezes.
If you watch on a smaller device, phone/tablet, it looks like it’s being filmed with a potato.
If you want to watch the games then you will have to sign up. I had no issues at all. I signed up with D1 a few days ago. At game time I fired up my browser and had the game right away with crystal clarity. I watched on my laptop for a few innings but eventually AirPlayed it to my AppleTV. No issues at all.
I did download the RHsports app to my AppleTV (the company that is doing the broadcasting for D1) but that was a bust. Apparently it is a Florida high school sports app but it did not have the Jax games. So I just sent it from my laptop.
