Lafayette did this too. The downtown district was drawn with holes in it in order to avoid a vote by the taxpayers.

The only way to prevent corruption is to limit the size and power of government.
They also have the flagship school, University of Louisiana.

They really are.

I'll give my boy some special treats today in honor of your bud.
My mom's second husband's son used to say it all the time.
Tell her I'm here if she needs a Plan C.
ALL of these data centers are vital. Just look at the important use cases they are promoting.

Couldn't they just poo off the side? That's what I do in my Xpress.

It is amazing seeing our dear leader guiding this country to gold!!

Thanks. That wooded property is some of the nicest natural land left in the city.

I remember a story about JG’s wife or brother being a member of an LLC that may have been doing something with Rigid. There may be smoke to a kickback fire, but it would be ballsy to tie it to this project.

I'd love to know if the city owns this property at the end of Kaliste Saloom and if this was one of the 'no-bid contracts'. In this aerial you can see the construction fencing. It was printed with Rigid Constructors. They spent months grading this slightly unlevel land.

It doesn't look much different than it did before. Why grade an empty property with no construction projects lined up?

California’s new bill requires DOJ-approved 3D printers that report on themselves targeting general-purpose machines.

We’ve been tracking this pattern. Washington State’s HB 2321 requires printers to include “blocking features” that can’t be defeated by users with “significant technical skill” (good luck with that on open-source firmware). New York’s budget bill S.9005 buries similar requirements in Part C, sweeping in CNC mills and anything capable of “subtractive manufacturing.” California’s version adds a certification bureaucracy on top: state-approved algorithms, state-approved software control processes, state-approved printer models, quarterly list updates, and civil penalties up to $25,000 per violation.

This does nothing but hinder law-abiding citizens with more costs, regulations and loss of freedom.

Meh.

Guy just did what all of the F250 drivers here claim they'll do to pedestrians and cyclists on the roads.

I think they shut down that service in 2003.
