If Gus has coached Marshall up to a respectable showing at Media Days, there is no question he is the greatest coach of all time.

Damn, I forgot about that! If I remember correctly, we were the only SEC team Eli Manning hadn't beaten in his career at that point.

Heard the Auburn reporter from Opelika news on the radio this morning talking about Auburn's strength of schedule this season.

Talked about how tough it is to play Georgia and Alabama on the road, then called Mississippi and Mississippi State swing games for every season -- hopes you can get a split there

Ask for a copy of the guest list, and choose your date from there. Maybe the wedding is being sponsored by match.com

I think Phil Steele is the guy who put Duron Carter on his preseason All-American list.

You know, because Alabama
50k seems like a more round number. Would give him a couple more weeks

re: Tray Mathews coming?

So technically, he could sit out 2014, blow it up in 2015 and go pro after playing 1 year at Auburn.

Not that I expect that, just stating the possibility.

Why do most keep typing Galloway? It's Golloway.

Good. My biggest issue with Galloway is that he's too soft

Grantham was hot garbage.

Never implied that he's not. I just don't believe Pruitt is an upgrade (except possibly in recruiting)

His career path is starting to feel very Chizik-y

I think this is a pretty shrewd move by Pruitt to have a built in excuse for a while before they realize he's not a better coach than Grantham.
I use PF near my office because during lunch is the only time of the day I have to go. Never crowded, a few smith machines, and one squat rack that gets a good bit of use.

People are in there deadlifting every day, and I couldn't imagine them telling someone they couldn't do it.

It's true the dumbbells only go to 75 pounds, though.

Which part are you laughing at? He probably will be day 1 starter here.

Sorry, that's just the canned response every time they don't get somebody.

"X would be lucky to see the field here except on special teams for 2 years, but he'll start day 1 there"

ETA: If he were to flip to them before he enrolls, he'll magically be good enough to possibly start for them and compete for the Heisman in year 1.

I know this may sound crazy, but how about lowering the amount people get who aren't working to give them incentive to work?

Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that when we lose someone to bama, we end up with someone who outperforms them.

That's the main problem with Saban's hiring philosophy -- he wants a staff full of recruiters instead of coaches. His players are getting drafted based solely on athletic ability, while Auburn typically gets more out of their players.
Gruden to be the new Auburn reporter?
Make sure it says something about Nantucket

I think this is true too. I guess I haven't burned out on it yet since it's only been my go-to for a couple of months. I like it because it's got a decent ABV%, and I usually drink it as something lighter after starting with a couple of stouts.
Late to the party, but I wanted to throw my support behind the Lime or Strawberry Rita's. Drank several one night pretty quickly, because they go down so easy, and got hammered like someone flicked a switch.

Also, can't believe nobody put a vote in for Fat Tire. It's my current go to (if I hadn't been at baseball practice while everyone here was drinking)

Guess it all depends on the era. When I was in high school, Robert E. Lee dominated the state in the big 3 sports, and MA had the best athletic programs among private schools.
