I am about to build the same size shop. Are you using a metal building kit or having someone build it?
The original plan was to do can lights. That's a LED light that lights up the world. No roof leaks, we were touching up the paint in a couple of spots when that picture was taken.

If you are around Asheville in September you should check out the Van life rally. Its Sept 21-23. I've been to two of them now and they have some really cool shite. Everything from Old VW buses to new vans like yours.

Definitely like the layout you designed. Good work!
When was the crash? One of my buddies just posted a picture of them headed up to Alaska.

Designers in the Gulf South have a niche market. You won't go anywhere else in the US (other than Denver) making what you can make in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. I am a designer and moving back to BR after living elsewhere and not making the money I can in BR. I actually applied at Jacobs and a few other places.
There was an entire thread about this couple sailing a while back. Maintenance on the boats they had and other things they had to deal with. Plus the chick is pretty hot.

Yes sir. I have been fly fishing in south La my whole life. Moved up here about two years ago. I have the same TFO that you posted the above picture with, that I'm pretty decent with.
Where at in NC are you located? I'm in close to Brevard and have been wanting to get out to catch some trout. Where would you recommend I try? I've seen people fishing at North Mills river but its always crowded there.

Is it just me or do the deals kind of suck this year?

Not just you. I was thinking the same thing. For all of the hype the discounts are not really impressive.
I assume thats what happened to mine as well. Walking back from my stand and both soles came off within 20' of each other. I've had mine at least 7 years. Have to get another pair before hunting season.
I keep coming back to this thread to check for updates. A lot of people are pulling for you.

When I turned 7 my dad bought a house and 28 acres in Satsuma. I had a Benjamin Pump pellet gun. I would do my homework then hit the woods with it. I basically lived in those woods for about 4 years. Then we moved to a house on the water and I had free reign with my 22 and 20 gauge to squirrel hunt in the swamps in Maurepas. Thinking back now, at 11 I was driving a boat (14' bateau w/ 25 merc) hunting and fishing almost every day. I miss those days.

Design your own. That’s half the fun.

Let your kids help you design it. Let their imagination run, that is what is fun.

I built my son a 10x12 deck 4' off the ground. Put 6' tall walls on 3 sides of it and kept the two side walls about 2' from the front. All treated for the deck, 6 4x4 posts, used fence boards for the siding and metal 4/12 roof. Was roughly 1500 by the time I put hand rails on it and a swing on one side and a slide going out of the window on the other. He would play in that thing for hours even if it was raining or chilly. Based it off of this picture

We've used them on higher end housing that the owners wanted a dry space below an exposed deck. I believe you can buy the stuff at Homedepot. Not hard at all to install.

I'd love to experience that, but like others have said it wouldn't look like that to the naked eye. But still an amazing video.
